Introduction
The following report is of a reflective nature and the personal experience of
conducting a research has been presented in a proper format with the mention of different
aspects and sub aspects of the subject. The completion of the research report forms a part of
the different kinds of the degree requirements. This kind of the requirements can help to
engage into challenging situations that can be used in the future to conduct more complex
researches. The different learning skills generally includes the outputs of the interactions with
the research participants, the basis which were considered for the selection and the analysis of
the research questions, use of the communication skills and many more as such (Errasti‐
Ibarrondo et al. 2018). The application of the skills has really helped me to develop m
professional as well as personal aspects.
Personal Contribution to the Research Aspects and perspectives
The conduction of the research has helped me to get the knowledge of effectively
complete a proper research. The research has helped me to create the exact research item in a
proper and exact manner that can be important for the success of the business. I believe the
time invested in conduction of the research has helped me to gain important knowledge of the
different kinds of the aspects and perspectives of the research. When I first began to think
about the research proposal, there were many topics that came to my mind. I along with all
the other members of our team were convinced that we will be selecting such a topic that
would perfectly suit the needs and the purpose of the modern day.
The idea of social media was floated in by one of the members and I suggested that it
will be great if we can use the social media advertising as the main variable of the study and
conduct research on the impact of buyer behaviour on social media advertising. There are a
couple of strengths in my research proposal as the topic itself was one of the strongest given

the backdrop of the modern day use of social media and its role in the advertisement
business. Another thing which went for me was the presence of the adequate resources in my
paper in the form of the information used in the proposal. The introduction was constructed
by me and I decided to use the basic ideas and discuss them to make my proposal stronger. I
have also justified my use of these information by highlighting the majority use of the
internet by people.
Personal Contribution to the literary review
My research process started off with the explanation of the internet and its sources
along with the importance of using internet as a major source of social media platform. I have
also highlighted the consumer buying decision behaviour and the process they use to buy
things. Apart from just providing the introduction of the literary review chapter in the
assignment I also explained the importance of literature review chapter in the research. The
important thing which I did was to conduct the research in such a manner that it helped me to
also highlight the importance of the literature review based on the current topic of the
research. Both personally and professionally I received important knowledge on a number of
different areas. The different research information regarding age groups of social media
users, word of mouth tool, sources of the social media were gathered from important journals
based on the topic of social media advertisement in the most professional manner. The data
was scrutinized a selected for use after a thorough checking by the team. I personally
suggested the use of all the current social media sources and describe them in detail to ensure
the success of the research. I had to collect information both from journals and online
websites that helped me to gain a strong knowledge regarding the same.
Summarising the collected information was quite tough for me as the information
were all quite generalised and I had to figure out the specific details to ensure the usage of the
best information. The summarising was completed only after I created a complete and

professional structure for the research. The preparation of the proper and effective structure
helped to ensure a grand success for the research. Overall the study of a large number of
earlier researches and the access to a large number of informative websites helped me in my
professional development. I am quite happy with my work in the literary review part of the
assignment as because I believe the information I provided was highly genuine and
transparent and was totally linked with the subject of the research. However, I could have
made a much better research given the absence of proper time and less resources. Such a
limitation clearly affected my analysis.
Personal Contribution to the Research methodology Report
The methodology chapter too follow the suits of the literature review chapter that was
created by me. The first thing again which I did here was to provide a clear and transparent
background of the research subject. The different secondary studies along with the in-texting
of the sources has been provided here. The primary data has been used here by me as because
the research the primary research helped me to gain a correct quantitative data based on the
use of social media advertisement and their impact on the customer behaviour. The sampling
of 75 different people was quite a great experience as the survey process helped me to gain a
correct idea of the mind-set of the people. I have also taken quite an extra time to analyse the
primary data in the most effective way. The selection of the different research approach,
research strategy has helped me as it can help me to use the techniques in the proper manner.
Reflections on research experience
The research has helped me to explore the development of teamwork among a group
of people who were involved in a common agenda. The agenda was the development of a
research article in a transparent and effective manner. The process by which the study was
conducted was a great learning experience for me. The identification and proper use of the

different kinds of the theories, the use of the theories in a proper manner, the different types
of the team development strategies, the creation of the theoretical framework creation were
all a great experience for me. The research provided me an opportunity to explore my
knowledge in a constructive manner. I will now be able to use this learning in different future
researches that can be either conducted through teamwork or by own means.
Statement of the Research
As said earlier, most of the literature review along with a part of the methodology
involving the survey part was done by me. This particular work helped me to gain a strong
idea on conducting research in an organized and constructive manner.
