Introduction
The reflective journals help to share the thought process of the researcher by
demonstrating personal experiences that have been collected from the working field
(Bartolomeo-Maida 2017). In the learning journals, collecting the notes based on the
observation, combining the major thoughts the individuals’ personality and experience can get
reflected. The purpose of this study is to prepare the learning report based on the provided
assignment that can enhance the idea sharing process and adaptive nature of mine. In this
particular report, the core part related to the topic selection process, literature review section and
methodology selection related information have been provided.
Discussion
Learning process
The objective of this process was to enhance my knowledge as well as abilities that can
significantly contribute in developing my academic as well as professional graph. It is true that
during the learning process, the critical thinking ability of mine has got enhanced that can help in
case of preparing the respective assignment using innovative approach. The respective
assignment followed the logical process for analyzing the interrelationship between customer
behavior and social media influences.
Personal contribution in topic selection
While selecting the research topic, I was quite nervous. Before starting my task, I have divided
my activities in different weeks so that I can be able to manage the time in proper way. In the
assignment 1, critically analyzing the entire assignment, it has been identified by me that the key
terms in the assignment wee social media, marketing, advertising, customer satisfaction and

buying behavior of the customers. In the particular assignment I have identified the major
research question that is significance of social media marketing in generating the buying
behavior of the customers. Therefore, in the 1st week I have reviewed the entire assignment and
tried to analyze different aspects those have been mentioned in the particular assignment. In
order to identify the research problem, examining the assignment situation I have tried to link it
up with the actual scenario in the market, where I have identified the actual issue. Here, I have
developed the research plan by mentioning the topic, its objectives, question and budget that will
be needed for completing the project and got approval from my professor.
Personal contribution in literature review report
It is true that while selecting the topic, I have gained knowledge regarding several social media
platforms and demonstrating the accurate theory related to the behavioral aspects of the
customers, I have conducted the literature review section. During the 4th week, I have searched
for different journals and the articles, which can help me to gain depth knowledge on the
particular research topic. By continuing this, it can also be said that while reviewing different
journals and articles, I have identified different perspective of the existing journals on the
particular topic. The positive part of this learning process is it has enhanced by critical thinking
ability that helped me in selecting the resourceful journals for my research paper. I have tried to
add more statistical information for highlighting different angles of the research paper. It took
almost 7 weeks to conduct the entire literature review section as it was based on the thematic
analysis process, in that case, our group members have been appointed for covering different
themes related to the topic so that individuals’ perspective can get reflected as argument.
I have divided the literature review section in different segments where the core key elements
related to the topic can get highlighted. For maintaining the authenticity of the research paper,

only the peer reviewed journals and the authentic websites have been used. I have properly in
texted all the articles those have been used for the literature review section. I have avoided
general write up and added the concrete analysis in the particular section.
Personal contribution in research methodology report
I strongly believe, methodology is an important part in the research paper that can significantly
develops the entire research framework. I also believe, in case of giving the strength to the
research paper the methodology section is very important. As I have mentioned that during the
4th to 9th week I have collected the information form existing journals, in that case, I thought to
add some information directly from the customers so that I can share the thought process of the
customers that can help me to understand the report in better manner. I have divided our group in
four parts and involved them in collecting the information from the customers. As the research
area is wide, to narrow down the area, I have used simple random sampling technique. After
collecting the information I have made the analysis process where I have transformed the
information into numerical form.
My reflection on research experience
I strongly believe, this research paper have brought various challenges as well as benefits to me
that can significantly contribute in improving my professional and career graph. It have enhanced
my view point on the project developing process, which can help me to develop the further
projects in professional manner. In the career perspective, I must say, it helped me to understand
the emerging marketing environment and its significance in generating the business. Innovative
customer preferences is the major part in marketing that has been learned by me during this
project. It is true that I have gained knowledge during this project, however, I have faced several

challenges while completing the entire project within limited time. In some of conflicts among
the group members has made the process slow.
My statement on a particular section
I have written the introduction chapter, where the problem statement and objectives have been
shared. I believe, this section is one of the important sections in the research project, which
develops the root of the paper. It helps to understand the entire theme of the paper. This section
has influenced my thinking ability and here I have learned about developing the concrete thesis
statement.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that the paper has opened various area of research on the particular topic and
it has made me more efficient in project developing process. I strongly believe, it can help me to
conduct more research in future.
