Group work benefits
The NUMUN discussion on the country competitiveness and the FDI has helped me
understand the fact that the team work is beneficial in understanding the issues presented in
terms of the FDI equation in the area of Malaysia. The discussion that I had held with my team
helped me in understanding the issues from a different perspective altogether.
Similarity and differences of group members
The discussion helped me understand the fact that every single concept is argumentative
and objective in nature. The viewpoints of people vary regarding the proposed future of the
concerned country in terms of the future events that might follow. The presence of the team
members helps in the understanding that there might exist a number of perspectives in which the
given scenarios might find a proper resolution. The discussion among the team members helps in
highlighting several scenarios that might help the resolution of the given scenarios.
My most developed skill
The most developed skill of mine that were revealed during the teamwork refers to the
skills of collaboration and compromise that I demonstrated while working alongside my team.
This has assisted in my understanding of the fact that in working with a team, the skills of
compromise and collaboration helps in refining my own viewpoints regarding the topic as well.
Skills that need development
The major skill area wherein I need improvement refers to the skill of the listening and
addressing a larger audience. The listening skills would help me understand the viewpoints of
others as well. I further need to improve my skills of addressing the larger audiences. This in turn
