INTRODUCTION
Reflective practice is an ability which is useful in reflecting the actions of individuals and
also engages them towards the continuous learning. As per this, it includes paying decisive
concentration in the direction of precious practice and theories and also informs them regarding
their everyday actions (Knott and Scragg, 2016). This indication is depends on the employability
and study knowledge by signifying various skills that are helpful for subordinates and other
individuals. To carry forward this reflection, it carries many skills such as communication,
research, ICT, teamwork, time and self management and problem solving skills. To conduct this
research in prominent manner, Gibbs model of reflection is used which is a reflective cycle as it
motivates people to think in an appropriate manner regarding their knowledge through the
meticulous activity or situation.

Gibbs Reflective cycle
Gibbs reflective cycle is useful in encouraging people regarding their self reflection and
also useful in thinking in a systematic manner regarding the various phases of concerning
activities (Hendricks, 2017). Moreover, its evaluation phase is quite important as it describes the
superior and terrible viewpoint of conversation in suitable way. It is based on my knowledge and
presentation regarding my employability that is evaluated and judged by other individuals. For
this, its few stages are discussed as under:
Description: This step is useful in providing generally explanation regarding the event like
what is happening, who is involved and what are the outcomes. This reflection is based on my
general skills which comprise message, investigate, ICT, collaboration, time management and
crisis solving as these are the skills which must be there in an individual to carry forward their
employability activities (Snowdon, 2018). It comprises backdrop in sequence regarding the
indication and also describe that who is indulged in the entire condition. For instance I am
currently carries the post of employer in an organisation and for this all the above discussed
skills need to be present in order to work in an effective manner and manages the whole
organisation and team. I personally feel that my communiqué and team functioning skills are
best as I am good in clarifying objectives and targets to a subordinates and also manages my
Associates in prominent manner. Thus, it is significant to stay suitable belongings in mind that

Feelings: This step is helpful in telling about the opinion and judgment with other people
experience concerning my skills. The intention to pursue this step is discuss about the feelings of
employees of subordinates in detailed manner which directly influences my skills and also guide
me regarding its improvement (Pretorius and Ford, 2016). In this manner many people feel
hesitate and face difficulty in order to share their feelings as in this relation my role is to
encourage them to share their belief and also ask concerning question regarding how they sense
throughout the event. As I am quite good in conveying people and team managing which makes
me feel better and my employees to because it does not trouble in general presentation. In this
background I am quite weak in investigation, difficulty solving and time organization skills and
because of this me and my employees face difficulty to perform job role acid influences their
productivity. In order to improve my research skills I need to develop good and well associations
with my subordinates as it is useful in analysing their behaviour and personality which is helpful
for me to guide them in suitable manner. I relation with this, somehow I feel quite nervous in
context of my subordinates as what if they does not coordinate with me or understand my
viewpoint.
Evaluation: In this step an individual ask about the overall experience of the event or
business activity which is divided among two parts either good or bad as it include many
questions such as what went fine, what was an individual’s involvement and what did not go fine
(Sicora, 2017). At this stage I did not feel that the situation is total resolved because there are
many skills in which I am feeble such as difficulty solving, time organization and investigate and
since of these it can create conflicts and confusion within the mind of employees which directly
impacts the overall performance and productivity of an organisation. In relation with my good
skills that are communication and team working my subordinates worked in an appropriate
manner as each group member produce high-quality of employment at the particular deadline.
Furthermore, it is also a fact that from my group two members resist to work harder they are not
even motivated regarding their work and for this my role is to contribute and develop motivation
among them regarding the work ethics of group. Lastly the things which do not obviously job are

conflict in confusion and it happened because I am quite late in difficulty solve skills and does
not examine the behaviour and personality of my subordinates.
Analysis: This step is also termed as the self analysis or provides a chance to make sense
about what happened during the event at a particular situation (Waltz, 2019). That include many
questions regarding my overall knowledge and skills like academic literature and also describe
that what sense can I make in that particular event or activity. I believe that to get job complete
with my employees at the initial level I need to provide famous possibility to each and every
individual to self identify their strengths as I do. On the basis of my perception I have
experienced that I am superior in announcement and group working whereas I am weak in
difficulty solving research and time organization as it does not matches all my strength. Because
of my feeble skills the output of work and presentation of workers gets impacted and leads to
develop lack of enthusiasm in their intelligence regarding their job role. In order to create things
in an effectual way I need to opt belbin team role theory which is obliging for me to dividing
work of employees and subordinates in an effective manner as work delegation seems to come
from the various strengths of people.
Conclusion: This step is useful in developing end about the things that happen and also
provide good reason regarding those belongings that can also so do to improve the results in
future (Whitehead and et. al., 2016). In this step you summarise the learning and also highlight
the changes which you want in your personality. By determining my skills it is described that I
am superior in message it is either verbal or on paper and also so superior in group operational as
I run my group and it connections in an effective manner. Moreover to expand other skill in
which I am lack such as dilemma solving, investigate and time organization and to improve them
I need to take criticism from my supervisor and also obtain participate in concerning workshops
to enhance my skills.
Action Plan: At this step, it is described that what an individual do to enhance their skills in
and differentiate manner regarding the situation. This step is helpful in order to act in an unique
manner as here I don’t only make plan to create things in different manner but also make sure
that they happen in an effective manner and also develop the necessary skills to carry out
concerning activities in an effective manner. For this step I determined that at next occasion
when I am operational in a collection I need to enhance and improve your difficulty solve skills

in order to avoid conflicts and also develop research skills that helps me in analysing the
behaviour of my subordinates which is possible by developing healthy relations with them.
CONCLUSION
Therefore, it is concluded that reflection is useful in examining the self skills and knowledge
which is useful for an individual to perform their task in a prominent manner. For this report,
various skills are considered that must be present within an employee that is useful in performing
their task in an effective manner. Moreover, to carry forward this report, Gibbs reflective cycle is
used that has six prominent stages such as description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion
and action plan and each step is responsible to describe the whole reflection and determination in
an effective manner and prominently describe the action plan which is taken to get desired
outcome in future.
