INTRODUCTION
Reflective journal is related to providing information regarding one' s character. With the
helps of self – reflection the person is able to identify its strength and weakness which assist in
making improvement for the better future. Self – reflection assist in providing understanding
about self- awareness which gives the person an ability to understand the emotions, values, goals
and their influence on others. It is provide understanding about the stress, time management,
group conflict etc.
PART 1
Reflective on stress, time management and group conflict during group presentation
During the presentation there were various challenges which are faced by me and the
whole team. My group comprises of 5 members. Everybody in the group were provided with
specific task regarding completion presentation. But there was one member in the group which
was not interested in participating in that activity. During the presentation there were various
challenges faced by me and my team because the one members was not involved and when I
asked him for its part it provided the information through copy paste from internet due to which
My group have to face lot of problems. Whole team members were in stress because the group
members which was collecting the information provided information to the tutor regarding this
but we were informed to carry on with the work. Time management refers to the allocating the
proper time to each activity for completing the task in specified time limit (Häfner, Stock and
Oberst, 2015). But due to the problems faced by Team we were not able to managed the time
properly.
I was very stressed due to this incident and the whole team was nervous regarding the
presentation. Also, the team faced problems in managing the time and identifying the
information through research. I was feeling stressed because this incident will affect the
presentation made by the team as there are chances due to which we are not able to present the
presentation due to the lack of involvement of one members (Benner, 2015). Also, the group was
facing challenges due to more conflicts between group regarding the activity which the person
will undertake, the partner which will work together etc.
Group conflict were the main problems faced by our team and leads to
miscommunication between team (Sherif, 2015). The group conflicts were their due to
difference in opinions of group members , different background etc (Noe And et.al., 2017).

presentation. The group was building communication with the team members through use of
WhatsApp to share the information regarding the presentation. But on the presentation day every
members of the team was involved and rehearing it was nice to see every body taking active
participation in the presentation. I was very stressed during the whole presentation as there were
various problems arise during the preparation of presentation which made me stressed and I was
not able to handle them properly.
PART 2
Learning about myself
During the preparation of the presentation I was very stressed which leads to ineffective
performance of our team as the whole team was demotivated. As per the Belbin team roles
there are different roles played by the different members of the team. Belbin team roles are those
which are used for the development of team there are in total nine roles as per Belbin which
consist of shaper, implementer, completer, resource investigator, team worker, co- ordinator,
plant, specialist, monitor evaluator (The Nine Belbin Team Roles, 2019). There are action
oriented roles which means putting things into action and it includes roles such as shaper,
implementer and completer. I have learned that while working in team it is required to
understand the behaviour of each members and their problems and most important is to
communicate effectively.
I was the implementer in the my team because I was the one member that was actually
getting the things done in team. I was practical , efficient and well- organized. The implementer
is required to put the ideas and thoughts in the action. I was very rigid and wanted to complete
the presentation properly. I was very conservative during the presentation due to which I was not
accepting the changes in the team. I had a great experience during the presentation because this
made me to become more patient and provided understanding about the team work and
achievement of the goals of team. Moreover, This experience will help me for the future
presentation where I will be working as a implementer I will make sure to understand the team
and their problems and will be more patient.
CONCLUSION
From the above it can be concluded that I had a great experience while preparing for the
presentation It has provided me better understanding about working in team and challenges
