Introduction:
The entire experience of putting together assignments one and two proved to be a great
learning experience for me. The topic chosen was extremely interesting and very much insightful
on the issues of gender wage gaps which are prevalent in the society. The learning experiences
are very helpful and make a person more knowledgeable and capable of taking decisions on
one’s own. Learning experiences are value based and they help in shaping the character of an
individual.
Week 1:
In the first week the topic was selected. This helps in the overall understanding of the
situation pertaining to the topic.
By studying the situations in different offices, I came to realise the actual scenarios hands
down which gave a certain authenticity and value to the nature of my research. It also made sure
that the work could be completed by me with a proper understanding of whatever I had done and
why I had chosen a particular research type. Learning experiences are best in case they help in
shaping the proper thought process of a specific individual.
Week 2:
The project scope was discussed and understood with respect to the procedure. The topic
and the method of study was so innovative and engaging that it did not require much effort on
my part to remain engaged in any specific situation. There are also situations where problems
crop up in the course of gathering information or in understanding a particular topic which was
not faced in this project at all.

working on a topic of business research was something which I can cherish for my entire life.
This is because the project was step wise and this helped me understand the different
perspectives to the situations and also the circumstances of work which led to the huge gender
wage pay gap in the context of the work environment in Australia.
Week 4:
The literature review of the entire topic was collected and the different books, journals
and articles were studied for the purpose of the research. The clear understanding on the topic of
gender wage gap became very clear to me. The research results revealed that there is a
significant percentage of gender wage gap in the Australian society. It has been seen according to
survey and employment statistics that there has been a significant percentage increase of the
gender wage gap from a lower percentage of 14.9% to 18.5%. In the higher or managerial levels
of employment, the total gender pay gap is of a huge percentage which needs to be looked into.
Week 5:

be understood. The learning program helped me understand the impact of the gender wage gap
on the performance in the businesses of the companies. I also wanted to make certain career
choices for myself which would prove to be a perfect choice of career for everyone.

number of women coming to work will decrease and there will be an overall dip in the
performance of the organisations and count of women workers.
Week 7:
The research methodology to be adopted for the research was collected and understood.
Leaning in a person’s life begins from the time they can understand any specific scenario. There
is no end to the concept of learning. This is due to the reason that learning is responsible for
making the researchers broaden the concept of research and also that of understanding the
scenario which has been chosen pertaining to the topic. The topic of gender wage gap is pressing
in the present scenario
Week 8:
The time frame was to be given for the proposed method of data collection as a
continuation of the research methodology. This is due to the reason that it has been going on for
long and has a detrimental effect on the morale of the women employees and workers. I really
got a great degree of knowledge on the topic and this helped me develop my perspective on the
matter clearly. This helped me understand the situation from a proper perspective.

Australia are to be identified which are crucial in such a specific survey. This is important
because the different factors which pertain to the case of this study are highlighted and used for
this specific research. There has been very slow progress in the case of gender parity in the
income of the people all around the globe. The failure to pay women equally for the same
amount of hard work which they put in causes an imbalance in the overall economic scenario and
also makes the women sad depending on the type of work which they put in.
