INTRODUCTION
Human self-reflection is the capability of individuals to practice introspection and
the temperament to acquire more about their rudimentary nature, function and essence
(Potter, 2015). Self reflection is done by an individual in order to enhance his or her own
skills, abilities and knowledge by overcoming weakness. In this context, I am going to
reflect upon the process group presentation which was made on time management. I
will use Gibbs reflective cycle to demonstrate self reflection. The aim of the presentation
to demonstrate clear understanding about theories and concepts related with time
management. By working in a team I have learned loads of things which I am going to
reflect upon.
Gibbs’ reflective cycle encourages you to think systematically about the phases of an
experience or activity, and you should use all the headings to structure your reflection.
Description
Our group has decided to prepare a presentation on time management and its
significance. Time management is very important as it enables an individual to manage

his or time precisely and appropriately. In our busy life, it is difficult for one to give time
to each and every activity which are essential and rudimentary. In this context, our team
has laid emphasis on time management and its related theories. Responsibilities for
presentation has been segregated in the group members appropriately (Husebø,
O'Regan and Nestel, 2015). Each member in the group has specific role to play in order
to attain the aim and objective of the presentation. For example, my role in the
presentation was to search for relevant theory and comprehend it in the presentation.
Moreover, I have responsibility to guide and motivate my team members so that they
can move towards right path and in right direction. Beginning stage are always tough,
but our group has managed it effectively and efficiently (Kumar, 2016). Two members of
our group has role of designing the presentation and making it more interactive which
attracts the viewers and they could able to understand the concepts briefly.
Communication plan has been prepared by one of our group member where he jots
down who will communicate to whom for particular purpose. For example, I have to
communicate with other group members either in face to face meeting or through
mobile communication in order to discuss about the theory I have selected.
Feelings
While preparing the presentation I was feeling a bit nervous and anxious. As the
presentation will be displayed in the class, it was important for me to make it
appropriately and precisely. Our group has given full dedication towards the
presentation so that it can become more creative and interactive. I have never felt this
feeling before. Thus, this implied that how much the presentation worth for me.
Evaluation
The good thing about the experience was that I was able to learn how to work in a team.
In future, I have to work with colleagues, superiors, subordinates, team so it was
important for me to know how to interact, coordinate and communicate in the team.
While working in the group presentation I was able to develop team building skills
efficiently. The bad thing about the experience was frequent disputes between me and
other team members (Tanaka, Okamoto and Koide, 2018). Those were because of
disagreement of thoughts and opinions. Though, I have learnt a lot from the experience
and will work to improve my self in future.

Analysis
From the group presentation I can contend that in order to work in team, you need to
respect everyone thoughts and opinion. I have learned many things from group
presentation and one of the most important thing was active participation. I have
participated actively in the presentation which makes me apple of everyone's eye. I
have provided various opinions that leads towards the success of presentation.
Conclusion
In the conclusion, I can say that team work is important. Our presentation was a big
success as we got praises from other students and tutor. Our group was able to attain
the aim and objective of the presentation and able to explain the importance of time
management. From the group work, I have learned that patiences is very important and
I will try to improve myself.
Action Plan
In order to eliminate conflicts and disputes from the group, I will never lose my
temperament and respect everybody thoughts and beliefs. Everyone's opinion is
valuable and I will listen them first and then provide my opinion to them. In this way, I
would be able to succeed in the group project.
