This report is a reflective analysis of a student's experiences in overcoming challenges to develop essential skills like communication, teamwork, and time management. The report details three specific challenges: an apprenticeship, presentations, and a T-shirt design project, outlining the skills utilized and the business functions involved, such as branding, finance, and operations. The student critically analyzes the challenges, incorporating Tuckman's theory of team development to evaluate teamwork dynamics. Executive summary
I have prepared this report on the basis of three challenges which I have taken with my
team members in order to learn the communication skills, time management, Team work
because it helps to growth in my career and perform business function effectively. On that basis
performed business functions with the help of these skills and accordingly planned SMART
objective which attained within time frame and move forward in future.
INTRODUCTION
Students and professional takes various challenges in life so accordingly learn the various
skills in order to perform well and all these skills helps in career development and explore new
opportunities (Ariyananda, 2020). The paper consist various challenges and includes different
skill as well as these skills helps to perform effectively. It includes various business functions
which used in these challenges because they smoothly attained the goal and objective. On that
basis I have planned SMART objectives which help in career growth.
MAIN BODY
Explain various challenges and describe each skill in order to perform these challenges properly.
I have taken three challenges in order to improve my learning skill and all these skills help
in my professional career as well as growth of my career. There are three challenges which are
discussed below.
Apprentice challenges-: These is my first challenges on that basis learn the various things it
includes different kind of skills which helps in my career growth and career development. Under
these challenges learn these basic skills which essential for any student and professional.
 Communication skills-: These are skill which essential to learn because it helps in career
advancement and exploit new career opportunities. I have learnt these skills in these
challenges because it improves the sentence framing and easily communicate to another
person (Baek, 2020).
 Teamwork-: These skills plays vital role under these skills because when I am take these
challenges so gathered the all team members and divided work with each team member
in order to easily achieving target and my team members corporate with them and
perform well.

 Time management-: I have power to utilise my time in proper manner so accordingly
planned the work. Under these challenge when activity start so focused on time
accordingly divided work in order to perform on time. It includes various kind work
perform on that basis divided a time and present work on particular time (Cheng, 2017).
 Business skills-: These is skills when I have done my MBA so it also helped in my
professional career because in present scenario each and every business or corporate
company required these kind of skills so accordingly essential to learnt these kind of
skills. They are ample numbers of skills are included during my colleges days I have
present business activity and announced as winner under these challenges.
Presentation challenges-: Under these challenges present their own idea so accordingly
planned the strategy with my team members and prepared proper flow chart which helps to me
present in very attractive manner. There are ample numbers of way to present these because it
helps to essential to clear the view point of any person. In my team members each and every
individual present the presentation in very attractive manner as well as learnt the many things.
 Communication skills-: When present presentation in front of audience so essential good
communication skills because present as own idea in own language. I have given lot of
presentation in my career as well as also given in my professional carrier. In my
organisation organised the seminar so I have given presentation with my team members
so used good communication skills. I have learnt communication skills with the help of
presentation skills because it helps to reduce my stage fear.
 Teamwork-: When I have give presentation in my colleges so make team and each
member of team present their view in front of audience. In my college organised the
ample numbers of competition so take challenge and present the idea so my team
members full corporate me and developing team spirit (Dreyer, 2017).
 Time management-: It is essential skill or tool because I have given presentation in my
office so accordingly managed my team in order to present my views in very short and
sweet in that to easily understand the audience and clear all the things. In office lot of
work pressure so accordingly managed my time and work life balance is important for
any individuals. There are ample numbers of things completed on time and accordingly
achieved the target so I have divide my work on the basis of effectively.

 Business skills-: I am given presentation in seminar so essential to used business tacit in
order to increasing the effectiveness of presentation. It includes various points which
helps to clear the concept and easily understandable. So, whenever I have given taken
presentation challenges so must used these kinds of skill it helps to make more attractive
and in very concise manner (Halme, 2018).
T- Shirt Challenges-: It is challenges or kind of activity which I have taken in my office in
order to provide T- shirt and utilised own marketing skills on that basis branding, logo, pricing
strategy as well as decide budget plan and also decide the variable and fixed cost. On these
challenges I have used various skills such as business skill, communication skills, technical
skills, team work and time management which are mentioned below.
 Communication skills-: On these challenges used good language in order to effectively
plan budget of T-shirt. I have learnt these skills under these challenges using proper
sentence framing, pronunciation of words which matters lot.
 Team work-: When I have taken these challenges so make team and each member has
five members and all five members participate equally. It is team activity in order to
present the things in very attractive manner and all the team member work together so
easily achieving the goal and objective of these challenges (Farrell, 2016).
 Time management-: Under these challenges time management is important because
when I have take these challenge perform various activity so according preparing
scheduling of each activity on that basis I have perform activity with my team members.
I have power to utilise my time in very well manner and accordingly planned with my
members.
 Business skill-: These skills lot of help under these challenges because easily planned the
budget of T-shirt. I have used finance skill, marketing skill, operation skill and many
more.
Critically analyse other business function under these challenges.
Branding-: I have taken three challenges so accordingly used these business function
which known as branding. On these challenges work with my team members in order to T-shirt
gives variety of branding and logo and accordingly decided pricing strategy with my team
members. All the team members participated so each and every one using marketing skills.

Branding includes creative skill which helps to brand the T-shirt includes various approaches so
I have learn lot of things under these functions which accordingly planned the things.
Finance-: It is second function which I have used in all these challenges in order to it is
main pillar and these function helps to set budget and cost of each challenge. I have used these
skills under all three challenges in order to decide the cost and accordingly prepared budget and
business plan. These functions help to easily attain the goal and objective of company and
accordingly effectively used in organisation in order to improve the effectiveness (Howatson-
Jones, 2016).
Operations-: When I have taken all three challenges so accordingly used these business
functions. I have used this function in all challenges because it helps to perform the challenges
and activities as well as my team members learn lot of things under these functions in order to
manage the operations effectively and activity are managed very well. This function helps to
work accomplished on proper time accordingly manage the production of products and services.
Evaluate the Tukman’s theory in relation to teamwork.
Tuckman’s theory
These theories which effectively used in organization effectively and when I have taken
these three challenges so on that basis developed team work. IT effectively and efficiently
applied these theory model all the three challenges in order to perform all the functions
effectively. These theories are given by Bruce Tuckman’s in 1965. It is tool or technique in order
to how team work together and effectively achieved the organisational goal and objective of
company (KO, 2016). They are ample numbers of stages under these models which are
discussed follows and I have used all stages under all three challenges on that basis my team
members perform well.
Forming-: These are the first stage of these theories which includes it is first step so
more dependency on team leader. I have used these step in all the challenges because as leader
so all team member depends me and make divide into small groups and assigned to each and
every individual roles and responsibility and they are accountable for that.
Storming-: This is the second step of Tuckman’s theory which refers to developing
strong agreement with team members in order to each team members take position itself and
perform their activities. I have used these strategies in all the three challenges with the help of
that focused the goal and avoid the emotional issues.

Norming-: I have used these stage when I am take all three challenges in order to small
decisions delegate to team members and work divided into team members and unity is strong
within team members.
Performing-: When I have taken challenges with my team members so developing new
strategies in order to perform the activities effectively as well as interpersonal development of all
team members. It includes the discussion with all team members and then takes decisions
effectively (Masters, 2018).
Adjourning-: It is last stage of these theories in order to break up all team members which
because successfully achieved the goal and objective.
Action plan: Describe briefly SMART objectives with the help of skills and challenges.
I have planned to learn the various skills in future in order to perform well in my
organisation and it helps in career development. So, set my objectives on the basis of Specific,
measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound.
Specific-: I received low opportunity on my ability to use power point presentation at my
last performance so accordingly plan more practicing power point within six months.
Measurable-: My next objective is measurable in order to create presentation it includes
graphs, images and other media in couple of hours. I have effectively use and create templates in
power point.
Achievable-: With the help of this skill improving performance and moving forward in my
career and set my time on that basis easily enrol for online class which helps to me learn new
skills (Redmond, 2017).
Relevant-: Only working with power point 25% of my job and now move up so spend
50% of my time creating power points presentations.
Time bound-: Within six month, I want to learn these skills effectively and perform work in
effectively.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been analysed, it includes various challenges which perform
effectively and used different skills with the help of that easily achieved the goal and objectives.
I have used all these challenges and skills in order to smoothly perform business functions and
operations as well as work with my team member so used Tuckman’s theory.
