INTRODUCTION
Orientation is a way by which students get to know about the university and the students
with which they will be studying(Wise and et. al., 2018). Reflective learning is a process by
which students have to make the reflection on themselves regarding the things which needs to be
developed in them and the other things which are important to be developed for their career.
Reflective learning is always considered to be beneficial and useful because it helps the students
to learn and gain knowledge on those things in which they are weak. It requires critical
evaluation of the things so that the student can make their performance better and this is not
compulsory for their studies but also for other activities. The formative and the summative
assessment of the students is a way by which the teacher can make the evaluation on the students
regarding the learning and knowledge which they are gaining. Formative assessment are just for
identifying that whether the student is increasing its knowledge or not and it is just measured
with the help of giving low graded opportunities(Shabani Nejad, Forogh Nematollahi and
Mohamdrezaei, 2019). Summative assessment is for the overall measurement of the student
which is taken in the end of the semester. This report will cover reflective approach to learning,
use of formative feedback, cultural and behavioural expectations and the importance of peer- to-
peer support and team working.
MAIN BODY
Importance of reflective approach to learning
Reflection learning is to make the analysis and evaluation on the things which the person
have experienced by doing certain activities or learning something new. I have developed and
learned many skills by doing the reflective learning and this has helped me to develop my critical
thinking skills(Fay, and et. al., 2021). Reflective learning has helped me in developing those
things which are weaker in me and this was done only with the help of making self analysis
which is also known as reflective learning. Reflective approach can be explained with the use of

Gibb's model-
Description- This is helpful in identification of the experience which I have gained by
learning about new skill or gaining some new knowledge about any other topic. This has

helped me to identify the factors which are important to be developed and
learned(Garcia-Marquez and Bauer, 2021).
Feelings- The feelings which I have developed by learning about the things by making
the reflective analysis was good as I have founded the weaker points in me. Making
reflective learning analysis is the only factor by which I can develop something new
things.
Evaluation- Reflective learning has always helped me to analyse about myself and the
things which I need to develop. The contribution which reflective learning will make on
me will be on the positive side and not the negative(Jackson, 2019).
Analysis- Analysis is the other factor which has helped me to learn and develop new
skills which will help me in the career growth and development and this can be done only
by making personal analysis by myself.
Conclusion- The conclusion which I need to make on my reflective learning is that I
have developed and learned new things which will be helpful in my personal
growth(Hörisch, 2018).
Action plan- I have developed my action plan that if any such situations will come to me
which will be similar then I know how to make and deal with such situations(Gupta and
Kaushik, 2018).
Use of formative feedback to improve summative work-ready

assessment which the tutor provides to students by focusing on the things which the student
needs to develop and inculcate in them. It is important for the teachers also to determine those
factors which is unclear in students and they require some instructions(O’Dwyer and Gilmore,
2019). On the other hand, summative assessment is done after the formative assessment has been
made on the student. The summative assessment is made after the semester or the exams which
provides the knowledge as to how much the student have learned(Calic and Shevchenko, 2020) .
The importance of formative feedback have been explained below-
