INTRODUCTION
Reflective learning is to be form of learning in which recalling of experience is to be
done by learner (Wain, 2017). Main aim of this report is to understand the importance of
reflective learning. In individual context, assessing to effective learning helps in achieving of

objectives and eliminating of problems. The foundation level learning programs are important
as they help in analysing the reflection of individual.
MAIN BODY
GIBBS Model-
According to this model, this state that reflective learning is to be learnt by analysing
past experiences. It is important for individual to focus on evaluation of the experience so that
decision making is being done properly. This model comprises of several stages which are
further discussed below-
Description (Facts) - It is the first stage of the model in which it reflects about the
situation what actually. During the personalized learning week, I was able to improve my
knowledge. This learning programme was given by teachers with aim to improving academic
knowledge as well as skills with an every student (Wareing, 2017).
Description (Thoughts) - During this personalized learning, I was feeling nervous as
new topics and areas were to be learnt by me. As the learning topics were new, it was
difficult for me to understand them on my own.
Evaluation- In this stage, my thoughts impact on my learning as well as performance
at rider level. Due to fear of learning of something new, I was unable to concentrate on my
presented situations.
Analysis- In this, to overcome with the situation the best option which I selected was
that to attend lecturers and seminars externally improve my level of confidence.
Conclusion- My focus during the situation is developing my critical thinking skills
and knowledge to understand the learning programs.
Action- If the personalized learning happened again then the best option which I will
choose is to learn with efficient sources of information so that it is easy to apply the
knowledge during learning.
Strength
My main strength is that I am capable of performing multitasking tasks easily. It helps
me in developing my learning needs as the learning program covered various topics I was
able to manage everything in proper manner.
Weakness
My weakness is that I am a slow learner and it negatively impact upon my
personalized learning and needs because it took time to adapt the new knowledge.
Ability for self-improvement
Identifying specific goals- To manage my strength as well as weakness first it is
important for me to examine and identify the set goals so that it I am able to use and improve
both my strength and weakness effectively (Pardo, 2018).

Flexible in adapting changes- To do the self-improvement it is also important to edit
changes in flexible manner so that strategies are implemented accordingly.
Being consistent- Another way of self-improvement is of being consistent with the
selected changes so that consultation situations are faced properly.
Ability to organise and structure text
To organise and manage structured text, gaining information of areas and topics is
important. Text structure is defined as credentials within a written text which is organised.
Ability to organise above plan
To organise the above plan, it is important to understand the strength and weakness so
that self-improvement is being done appropriately.
Managing and engaging with teachers and mentors to carry out the plan consistently.
(Bernacki, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above reflective matter, it has been stated that it is important to develop
learning and knowledge in efficient way goes as well as object are achieved. By accessing
two to self-owned strength and weakness it is easy to make decisions about areas which are
required to be improved.
