INTRODUCTION
Reflective refers to the individual experience and inner process of thinking and feeling.
When any person face some situation and circumstances then they will defiantly learn some
knowledge, skill, ability and experiences that may affect their existing personality and profession
(Hopkinson, 2014). In the present report, individual experience regarding several situations and
topic such as difference between learning in the school environment and higher education,
engagement with critical reading and thinking, the ability to locate, collect and record
appropriate information using a range of academic resources has been systematically discussed.
REFLECTIVE REPORT
Example: The distinction between learning in the School environment and Higher
Education: the time management and learning style worksheets.
Being a student in the reputed university of England I have analysed that higher
education is far different from the school environment. While I was studying in school then my
teachers and principles was very strict because there was very strict regulation and rules.
However, in school environment, students have opportunity to learn the basic knowledge, skill
and ability. I have observed that in the school started with nursery to 12th standard class while
collage provides education for 4 to 5 year. In the school level, my basic knowledge and skill
related to subject has improved but in college I have gain several opportunities to perform at
higher level. I have improved my personality and professionalism in the college level. The major
difference between college and school is that college is mainly for under graduate course which
can be for 3 to 4 years depending on the course structure. On the school provides education from
1st standard to 12th standard. From the school education system I have learnt several skills
regarding time management, computer skill, research skill etc. While I came in the university of
England then have gain several kinds of effective opportunities regarding to improve my
personality and professionalism (Calderhead, 2012). College organises several kinds of training
and development program regarding subject of student. As I am student of management so with
help of training on management I have improved my knowledge about marketing and
management concepts, techniques, philosophies etc. In the college, there is high standard library
where every kinds of books, magazines, newspaper and other study material available through
which I can easily gain new knowledge and idea. I have also analysed that higher education
system always provides opportunity of placement to students through which they can frame their

career according to their choices (Zepeda, 2012). I have analysed that higher education system
organises several competitions and games for entertain students as well as for improve their
personality. In the special occasions, England higher education college organises various kinds
of competition program like debate competition, speech competition, and other games that
entertain student as well as provide them opportunity to improve their personality and
professionalism. From my entire experience in the school and higher education I have analysed
that there are very major differences between collage and school level that helps to student in
improving their knowledge, personality and professionalism. From the higher education in the
England I have improved several kinds of skill and competencies such as time management skill,
technical skill, decision making skill, communication skill, leadership skill and knowledge
regarding various subjects. I have improved to compete with other students in the various college
level competitions I have analysed that school also provides the general opportunities to students
according to their capabilities. As in the school there are small age students so management
always organises activities and task according to their capability and knowledge. By leant n the
higher education such as England famous university, I have got effective placement that will
support me in my career. I have also improved my competencies and skill by gain education in
the college. This higher education helped me acquired all necessary knowledge, skill,
competencies and idea that will help me in become successful entrepreneur and business man.
My various weakness and drawbacks has also automatically improved by engaged with higher
education. In every month I have attended personality development workshop and seminars that
helped me in improved my personality.
Example: Engagement with critical reading and thinking: Lidl and Aldi scandal
While I have read news regarding the scandal on the Lidi, Aldi I have analysed that there
are issue regarding the supply chain management. As cited ventures have not operated an
effective sources and techniques of supply chain management due to which its profitability and
productivity is negatively harmed. I have learnt that Aldi biscuits made in Dirty factories due to
which many of the customers claimed against company .Aldi biscuits including cheese thins,
ginger nuts and oddbites are being recalled by the manufacturer after they were found to have
been made in dirty factories. I have also read that customers are urged not top eat the products
but to return them to stores for a full refund. In the book and journal article about the scandle on
Aldi and Lidl I have analysed that for achieve effective position and develop competitive

advantage in the market it is very important to focus on the quality and productivity of product
and services. Due to poor resources of supply chain and poor quality of product and services,
company was facing issue regarding ineffective good will in the market and declined
profitability. On the article about Aldi and Lidl scandal I have assessed that first reading was a
just for general understanding, then a made a series of note on Aldi and Lidl.

Being an employee in the Volkswagen company my team leader gave me tas to collect, locate
and record the information regarding the customer choices and feedback regarding existing
product and services. I have to work with 10 member team in which every one have different
role and responsibility to achieve organisation goal. I have found that organisation objective is to
earn maximum profitability and market share by deliver effective quality of product and services.
Thus for address this objective, I have decided to work with team member in effective manner.
My team leader gave me task to collect information regarding customer feedback. For collect
thos information I have focused on method of primary and secondary data collection. In the
primary data collection, I have designed a systematic questionnaire regarding existing
performance and product of Volkswagen. By conduct personal interaction with 50 customers of
Volkswagen I have found that customers are effectively satisfied with existing product and
services op Volkswagen. However, many of the customer are required to improve quality and
productivity of existing product. On the other hand in the secondary data collection, I have used
several books, journals, magazines etc. By work with my team member in the company I have
improved various knowledge, skill and ability. I have effectively carried out activities and task
that was assigned by team leader. By effective coordination and collaboration I have improved
my personality and professionalism. I have analysed that this task for collect and record
appropriate information helped me in large manner through which my knowledge and
personality is significantly improved.

I have collected information from reliable and valid sources that helped me in achieved
appropriate objective. For collect information, I have taken support from my team members and
we all have collectively achieved group task that assigned by my manager in the Volkswagen
company. By this task I have improved my communication and interaction skill. In this duration
for accomplish task, I have to communicate with other member and customers also. With help of
this task my communication skill and interaction skill has significantly improved. By collect
information, my data collection as well as research skill has been also improved in the company.
I have experienced to work with other member who have different skill, knowledge and ability. I
have learnt that by work with other people at workplace, individual can easily improve
personality and professionals. By this task I have improved healthy relationship with other
people at workplace.
CONCLUSION
From this entire discussion in this report it has been summarised that reflection report
defines that how individual learn from situation. Reflection always affects the personality of
individual. While any individual experience on situation then they defiantly learn new
knowledge and idea. By this report it has been also concluded that with help of self assessment ,
self practices and training and development, individual can learnt several skills, knowledge an
ability that will support them in improving personality and professionalism.
