Gibbs reflective cycle
Description – I was given a project to write report on business environment on Facebook. This
was a group project where I was given time to complete it within 7 days. As I was studying in
college so I was given report to be made. So, we were 3 people working on it. so, we assigned
roles to each other and then started working on it. Thus, as we were already knowing each other
so it was easy for us to work in team. I interacted with them to find out their interest in working
with me. Therefore, we took this project (Bener, and Yildiz, 2019 ).
Feelings- here, I felt that i have learned many things from it. I got to know that facebook is
affected by change in macro factors. Moreover, I gained in depth knowledge about what business
environment is and how its change affect on company operations. Besides that, I felt that I
need to develop my leadership skills so that I am able to lead team. this is because it will help
me in my career development. Furthermore, I was felt that i was not able to search data and info
on internet about company. The pestle analysis was done but on VRIO no info was been found
in it. so, my team members found that I was not doing my task in proper way. They felt very bad
for this type of behavior. I got to know that there are various types of business and stakeholders
associated with it.
Evaluation- I evaluated my overall performance and found that there were certain things which
went well and which not. So, as I was leading team so I was effectively assigned roles of other
members. Also, I took effective decision as well in it. But in leading team things which went not
well was that I was only able to play 2-3 role of leader in effective way. But in many I failed. I
did was not able to solve problem which arises. Besides that, I did not work in team and took
help of other when I was stuck in any situation. But my team members supported me in effective
way. They communicated with me in proper way and we were able to finish report on time. but I
was not able to manage my time (Korucu-Kis, and Demir, 2019).
Analysis- I analysd that I could have handled situation in better way. I must have interacted with
team member and work in team. this would have helped me to contribute equally. Moreover, I
can prepare a schedule and then work accordingly. I this way I can have search more in
Facebook and gather data and info. In addition to that, I was not able to solve problem so it
hamper my performance. hence, I can communicated with others and then find out common

Conclusion – I can conclude from doing this project that I have learned many things from it. it
has helped me to get insight that what skills and capabilities are to be improved. I should have
handled situation in better way. I need to enhance my leadership skills so that I can lead team of
5- 10 people. Also, I must sharpen my communication skills so that I am able to interact with
others in effective way. It will also boost my confidence level. Moreover, I need to develop
problem solving skills as well. so, that next time I will be able to solve problem and support
other team members as well. these all will highly help me in my career growth and next time I
will be able to complete report in less time. It will increase my efficiency as well. I must improve
my time management skills also (O’Loughlin, and Griffith, 2020).
Action plan- in order to develop my skills and knowledge I will need to make an action plan. this
is because it will help me in improving my skills. moreover, I will be able to take feedback from
