Introduction
This is the universal truth that businesses are within the presence since the commencement of the
human civilization. People works together to achieve the common objectives. In today’s time
businesses and industries are moving to the innovative and modernization world. Both are
moving to the technical and digital revolution. I have joined the industry as the system engineer.
I have gotten the experience of the ten years as the system engineer, then as the test analyst and
manager at middle level. There are many changes and shifts within the authority and power in
the business and authority (Minzberg, 2012). The following discussion will analyze the
management as the art of doing the things effectively with the efforts of people and reflect on the
planning, leading, organizing, and controlling. Further discussion will cover the motivational
theories array which developed through the different personalities. This report will discuss that
communication at effectively level should be done by the management as have the high level of
the communication skills.
Management in the context
This takes some time that depend on the employees capability and knowledge of the employee’s
garner from experience. There are many principles and theories of the management. There are
fourteen management principles given by the Henri Fayol (Schulz, Greenley, and Brown, 2015).
These kinds of principles cover the basic functions like planning, organizing, commanding,
coordinating, and controlling.
Planning
The planning is known as the steps that organization takes to establish the budgets and guide the
future business activities. The planning leads to achieve the business objectives through the
many methods.
Organizing
Organizing is known as the establishment of the appropriate authority relationships between
employees and workplace to work together more effectively. It helps the businesses to divide the

work within the departments and sections. This delivers the personnel, tolls, raw materials, and
capital.
Commanding
Commanding in business is known as the position for the elevation of guiding and leading the
organization activities.
Coordinating
Coordinating is known as the procedure of organizing the people and group to work together
more appropriately manage the work among the different employees.
Controlling
Controlling is known as the primary goal oriented task of management within the organization.
This is a procedure to compare the authentic performance with the set objective and take actions
to improve the current performance.
One of the important functions of the management is to solve the issues and challenges. This is
the main responsibility of management to crafting and communicating the visions and values.
Management uses the functions like planning, leading, organizing, and controlling that help to
assist and deal with the business issues (Hitt, et al., 2012).
It has been analyzed within the previous organization that it wanted to shift the gear to agile.
Management created the smooth transition through deal with the many situations and issues that
could arise. The effective planning, leading, organizing, and controlling with the effective use of
the natural data helped to segregate the sources to teams that bear the strength, experience,
knowledge, and interest. There were effective analysis did within the business to analyze the
process of running the projects and required sources. This helped to realized the intervention of
anyone and get accurate data which already exist within the document which used by the
organization (De Toni, and Tonchia, 2016).

Motivation and influence
Motivation plays the very important role within the business as it provides the intention to
achieve the objective, lead to the goal directed behavior. As per the equation environment,
motivation, and environment are the main influence over the performance of employee.
Performance = Motivation * Ability * Environment
Communication
The communication element is needed and plays the important role within the management.
Communication helps the management functions such as planning, organizing, leading, and
controlling. It is the capability to effectively communicate. More than fifty percent time is spent
within the communicating. Communication within the organization can be done from top to
bottom or top to bottom. The formal communication follows organization structure chain and
reflects the availability of the legitimate power. Informal communication is based on relationship
within the different peers of similar level. Channels used to transfer information from one level
to another level efficiently. The communication channel is very important as help to access the
information anytime. One of the effective tools is office 365 as the cloud based for the team
work. This is very effective to bond with the associates across the world that help members of
the team to access the work and video calls with the counterparts. It also helps the workers to
have personal life balance. The channel of communication is accepted by the organization
executives (Van Aken, and Romme, 2019).
Conclusion
In the limelight of the discussion it can be concluded that management should have the good
understanding about the functions of the management principles. Management should integrate
the skills like motivation and communication to inspire and influence the subordinates and drive
to the accomplishment of the organizational objectives.
