entries. Therefore, the entire report is also based upon the reflective Journal in which report will
describe 4 major core skills such as Time management skills, Team work, Resilience and public
speaking, The report will further show the importance of these skills and by applying proper
theory and toolkit, report describe the ways to overcome the issues as well. In addition to this,
report will describe SWOT analysis in which it shows the strength as well as weaknesses then by
using personal development plan, report will describe the way to overcome weaknesses using

What is the core skill to develop?
I want to develop my Time management skills. It is the process of planning and exercising
awake control of a time spent on some specific activities. Further it also refers to managing time
effectively so that the right time is allocated to a right activity as well (Britton and Tesser,
2019). As I want to focus on my time management skills so that I can make the best use of time
as time is always limited.
Why is this core skill important? Why did I select this skill to reflect on?
Time management skills are important because a good time management always allows to
accomplish more in shorter period of time and this further leads to more free time which
provide an advantages of learning opportunities, help in lower down the stress and assist me to
provide better career success. Therefore, it is quite essential to be aware and develop this skills
because it helps me to lead successful life. This can be further proved by Blake and Mountan
managerial grid (Appendix A) that makes me aware of the fact that distraction always leads
towards mismanagement and this should be avoided completely In order to follow the right
back (Macan, 2019).
For example, As I am working in the office and I have to set my priority work first with proper

CONCLUSION
By summing up above report it has been concluded that an individual needs to posses
some basic skills so that it will help to lead a better and successful life. From the report It has
been concluded that there are four core skills which an individual must posses and by using
SWOT analysis, I concluded that among them I am lacking team work and public speaking
skills. In addition to this, I further concluded that by using personal developmental plan, I can
easily improve my weaknesses and also enhance my strength as well so that I can live better life
in my future.
