INTRODUCTION
Understanding self and other act as a vital element through which an individual can engage
self in cross-cultural approach to effectively understand different situation. With the help of
psychological theories and techniques a person can understand themselves and others in a well
define and effective manner (García, 2020). Psychological approaches are basically behavioural,
biological, humanistic and cognitive through which individuals can gather different range of
disciplines and can evaluate other and self behaviour in a workplace organisation. Present report
include discussion upon skills along with its importance future career.

Time management:
This skill reflects on importance of managing time. Time management is most important
for personal as well as professional development as with the help of this activities or task can be
managed according to time and get accomplished with higher objectives (Xie and et. al., 2020).
According to the feedback from peers it has been identified by me that I have having average
time management skills. Thus, it is essential for me to have this in future in order to accomplish
my targets in proper time manner as to assure professional and personal growth.
Public speaking:
Public speaking is defined as a process of performing in front of life audience. This skill
is having significant importance in personal and professional career of an individual as it
enhances the ability to speak in front of large base of audience while attracting their attention

towards a topic (Al Yasiri, W.W.A.H., 2020). This skill also enhances confidence among
individuals. With the help of this skill is personal and professional career growth can be assured.
According to the feedback that has been acquired by me from my peers it has been identified by
me that I am having low public speaking skill thus it is essential to enhance this skill in future in
order to get selected for my dream jobs.
Researching & information finding:
Researching and information finding skills is defined as an ability to identify answer or
solution of an issue or problem (Sloan, 2020). It has been identified by me according to feedback
from my peers that I am having average researching & information skill. Thus, it is important for
me to develop this skill in order to enhance the ability to gather information on uncertain topic
and interpreted the information in an effective manner.
CONCLUSION
According to the above mentioned report it has been concluded that with the help of
different types of skill individual can assure personal and professional growth. It has been
identified that it allows them to enhance their skill levels and develop themselves in an effective
manner to compete in industry on marketplace. Proper knowledge of all these skills significantly
enhance career growth of an individual in a well define and effective manner.
