INTRODUCTION
Reflective practice is the process or an ability to express the action of an own practise
from which another person can be able to understand and learn from the experience. It is an
effective process of learning and adopting the various kinds of knowledge and information which
can be very beneficial for an individual person (Lin and Fujimoto, 2021). The report will
demonstrate the reflective essay in which it includes the different tools for using the reflective
teaching and also perform the professional development plan which will help an individual to
improve their own learning and reflective practices.

2.1 Current Performance requirements to own practices.
Teaching is the period that an educator gives the information and knowledge to the leaner
and students. Being a teacher I founded that it is work of being very responsible and requires
staying positive so that I can be able to give the effective learning to the students. Being a
teacher I analysed that I need to provide the effective lesson and eduction to the students in
different ways from which they can be able to learn and adopt the learning appropriately. Even, I
identify that there are many areas which I need to cover from which I can be able to provide the
fruitful result or teaching to the students (Asratie, Aylet, and et.al., 2022). I observed that
students are not able to communicate with me properly and not able to give the feedbacks openly
from which they are affecting their own learning areas and getting a bad result at the time of
examination. Due to my improper interaction with the students make them to suffer from an
issue and not able to adopt the appropriate knowledge and information.
2.2 Different tools for use in reflecting teaching
For improvement of my teaching areas I utilized some tools which helps me to evaluate my
teaching to students. I had applied two ways to understand and recognize my teaching areas:
Index cards: Using the index card helps me to understand areas of improvement from which
students can be able to learn definitely. Index cards has been utilized me in such way where at
the end of the session or class I keep the number of blank cards on the desk from which all the
student can use them and handover to me before the session has completed. In the index cards I

Suggestion box: The suggestion box is very common and known tool which tells the student that
they can put their suggestion freely. I had put the suggestion box in the classroom so that an
individual student can raise their problem by writing the issue and can put them into the
suggestion box from which I will receive the feedbacks and reviews of the students which I can
be able to improve and can deliver the appropriate learning (Kalinowski, Gronostaj and et.al.,
2019).
Sticky Notes: The sticky notes also helps me to evaluate my performance by implementing this
strategy where I use these notes to be placed at the desk from which any of the student can come
and write their suggestion and points and can stick on the board so that I will collect that notes
later on and can observe and identify the needs of the students from me and can improve them
within a definite time area.
