Reflective Commentary: Project Feedback, Analysis, and Improvement

This document is a reflective commentary by a student on their project feedback and the subsequent strategies implemented to improve their work. The student discusses the initial failure due to a high similarity index and the steps taken to address this, including a focus on secondary research to gather evidence-based information and incorporating diverse perspectives to enhance the project's credibility. The commentary highlights improvements in project formatting, sentence structure, and originality to meet university guidelines. Reflective Commentary:
After receiving tutor's feedback on the project I was in a complete state of shock. The
project that I had submitted was not considered and was reported for suspected misconduct. The
similarity index on the project was much beyond acceptable criteria and emerged as 34% which
resulted in my failure. I had always emphasized on finishing my project on time irrespective of
approach undertaken. There was a need to inculcate crucial amendments in my behaviour so that
I am able to fulfil requirements of this Re-sit project and at least achieve a pass grade. I was
more serious and concerned about the project this time as I had failed in this earlier. The tutor
had given me certain feedback which had to be followed this time.
From my previous project, I have carried out various changes that helped in improving
my skills and capability related with research and ultimately fulfilling requirements of this
project. In this, I conduct research to gather knowledge about the topic in order to reduce the
chances of arsing any kind of issues in my upcoming project. For this attempt, I have opted for
secondary research and have collected and analysed information of various authors and journals
who have worked on this specific project. This aspect have helped me in collecting data is
evidence based that support me in improving relevancy of the project. To attempt this project in
a better manner, I have included authors point of views towards the specified topic and area so
that my content is more evidence based and genuine. By this, I can easily improve my project
and make structured report which has been indispensable for this attempt. On the other side, my
project formatting was not structured in my last project to which I have tried to improve for this
re-sit submission. This amendment will help in making sure that project is perceived more
presentable and information is more clear and to the point. Moreover, sentence formation is also
required to be clear for this I analysed my written
skill with the hope of making all the sentences more structured.
This time, I have tried to make sentences more clear so that I have have easily meet
project criteria. Along with this, I also tried to make project in my own language which helped
me in reducing similarity of content and fulfil requirements of the project within university
guidelines. In addition of this, I also ensured that all the information that gathered by me is more
relevant with the topic so that I can easily meet all the criteria of the project. Lastly it can be said
that I have worked for this project with a very different mindset and motivation as this was my

last chance for submission of this project. I have tried to inculcate all the possible approaches
and techniques which would be helpful for me in achieving pass grade.
