(Conrad, 2014). Understanding people forms a crucial part of the duty of a manager and a
person needs to have an acute skill in the given domain (Keyton, et al., 2013). Hence, the
primary objective of the given essay is to highlight my skills as a good communicator and
possessing a good understanding of people through a LPA (Laureate Professional Assessment).

From the given analysis score, it can be understood that I have scored considerably low in
the given domains. As it can be interpreted, the test analyzed my ability in four different domains
which ranged from analyzing and solving problems, ability to work well with others,
achievement of objectives, learning and self-development along with the ability to adapt to
change (Miner, 2015). This means that I lack basic communication skills which an individual in

do not agree with the other competency scores which I have received in this given domain. This
is because, in my past professional experiences in the different organizations with respect to the
internship opportunities I have achieved, I was able to work very well with others and was also
able to achieve the different objectives which were presented to me. Hence, I do not completely
agree with the scores and results achieved.
Self-learning
From the test which I have taken and the results obtained, I can understand that there are
various domains in which I lag. This can act as a shortcoming in my personality contributing to
which I will not be able to achieve long term success. Change can be described as the only
constant and since I score considerably low in the adapting to change competency this means
that I am unable to adapt to the different changes which take place which may then make it very
difficult for me to adjust with respect to the different changes which may take place in the future.
Furthermore, since the external business environment is quite dynamic in nature, for this reason,
I should be able to adapt to change easily. Furthermore, the business is often faced by different
problems for which problem solving skills need to be very dominant in an individual, hence,
since I lag in this skill, I may face problems in my professional career (Williams, 2013).
Theoretical models
In the given subject, I came across various theoretical models and concepts which helped
me further in the analysis of the results which I achieved in the given Assessment. The chapter
has covered various models on Human Behavior, Learning, Motivation, the Influence of Internal
as well as external environment on the behavior of an individual (Pinder, 2014). Hence, an
understanding of these various concepts and theories went a long way in assisting me to

understand the different scores and results which I received and their applicability to the real
professional world. Through the results I understood the manner in which I approached towards
problems in the business scenario and how these had an impact on the problems and their
outcomes. I was also able to understand the manner in which I was unable to maintain long term
relationships with the different individuals and their impact.
Using insights to improve in the VUCA world
The VUCA can be described as an acronym which is generally used by the American
Military to define the extreme conditions which exist in Iraq and Afghanistan. The terms stand
for Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (Wagner III & Hollenbeck, 2014). However,
the different CEOs as leading organizations in the present domain have been using this concept
to relate them to the constantly changing domain of the business and the challenges which are
faced by the organization from the political, economic, and societal and the environmental
domain. Leadership agility is the key to success in the present scenario, however, it can be stated
that from my poor results it can be stated that I lag the appropriate competencies which will
make me successful in the future because I have a low competency with respect to change.
Hence, if I do not take the necessary actions, I will not be able to be a successful manager in the
VUCA globalized world.
Conclusion
Therefore after analyzing the results which I got from the assessment and relating them to
my future career in the VUCA domain, it can be stated that I lag the capability in certain
essential aspects and hence, due to this I need to take appropriate actions to improve my
competencies. I need to improve my communication skills, start making a list of my objectives
