INTRODUCTION
Reflective piece is related to the essay in which the writer can express his or her
experience also students are like to express their feeling in such way where they can identify
their skills and knowledge according to this (Dingus, Black and Dahlquist, 2021). The report is
based on the foundation degree in Business & Management, the study discussed about key
competencies on the basis of strength, skills, weakness and other attribute. Also, evaluated about
career pathways which are specify for the long term career as the customer relationship manager.
Lastly the report explains about progression opportunities that are help to grow the career and
explain some of the barrier which are affect the progression opportunities.
MAIN BODY
Being a management student it is important self-evaluation so that it can be help in my
further job opportunities. I would like to SWOT framework in order to identify my strength and
weakness. This the where I build my skill that will help in further period of life, some of the key
competencies are as follows:
KEY COMPETENCIES
Strength- There are some of the internal positive aspects which are under control for capitalising
in the planning process, I have identified my strength and skill when I was completed my
internship related to business management in which I have evaluated that one of the major
experience I have got through education and knowledge. I am good at academics as well as I
have a keen interest in reading books and collected knowledge from outside the world. Also, I
have strong technical knowledge which are related to software, hardware and programming
language that courses I have completed whiles doing graduation side by side. Also, this technical
knowledge is help me in digital marketing for further job opportunities (Elavarasan,
Subramaniam and Nurunnabi, 2020). I always like to interact with those professional bodies in
which I can use my skill and knowledge. Further, I have a good contact outside the college
because I like to interact with people who are experienced and have good knowledge about their
life and work. When I were travelling in public transport I would like to connect with people so
that I learn from them and appreciates that I have understanding for to whom interact.
Weakness- Then, I would like to identify my weakness on the basis of journey which I have face
till graduation and it has been analysed that I were afraid of facing challenges because I get
depressed of failure. There are some of the major issue which I have faced during my college and

that is why it has been analysed that it affects my personality and I get negative thoughts. This
negative thought is one of the biggest weakness of mines because I get frustrated due to negative
thoughts (Elliott, 2021). Also, I have lack of confidence because when I contact with individual
personality I am comfortable but at the same time I could not able to build confidence while
talking to public. In college I had a fear of public speaking and it affect my personality as well.
Threat- There are some of the thoughts which I have realised as threat because at some
period of time the threat of competition with the students because in the college I have learnt a
lot but still I have not like to compete with people. Other threats are related to social anxiety and
because of this reason I got frustrated and affect my life due to this because I thought when I will
join corporate sector it would be harder for me and that kind of threat are affecting my life.
Opportunities- Being the graduate employment the opportunity is related to my skill and
knowledge will help me in further career of life, also the positive trend is increasing day by day
that will create more and more jobs and help me in further globalisation, growth, technological
advancement etc. (Hay, 2018). Also, I can help my skill in further post-graduation otherwise it
will help in enhancing the knowledge. All the transferable skill is help me in corporate sector
because while interaction with management it is important to have skill of time management,
communication skill etc. Further, my strong network will help in building or completing the
project at good level.
Skills- The major skill of mine are related to the self-discipline, punctuality, time
management etc. all these activities were help me in the corporate sector as well as good
communication skill will help me in building the good network. Further, it is necessary to use
technological skill while digital marketing.
CAREER PROSPECTS-
Being a management student there are some of the opportunities which I can get in my work life
such as there are so many fields which I can join marketing, finance, production etc. Also, I got
selected for the placement from my college related to business administration researcher but I
have not joined because I am looking for more good opportunities. According to the Boud’s
triangular representation it has been analysed that experience, learning and reflection are
included in this academic theories. Along with this my experiences are related to have good
knowledge of academic sources (Hay, 2018). Also, I have completed my internship in business
management in which I get good experiences and there and there are many learning skills I have

learnt such as time management, transferable skills etc. Also, there are in the field of marketing I
have deep interest and I can join that field also. The last stage of representation is related to the
reflection which I have discussed in the above report.
In the career point of view, it has been analysed that there are some of the major field which are
help in the further career, service manager, customer relationship management, front office
executive, customer care executive, event manager, health service manager, sales coordinator,
retail manager etc. For the service manager there are some of good opportunity in order to join
because it helps to connect with all the services which are important for the organisation (Minott,
2022). The major services are related to production, transportation and logistics etc. Also, for the
customer relationship manager it has been analysed that this is the most preferable job for the
fresher because with the help of designation there are so many people to whom one can interact
with also it helps to improve communication skills and help to get better opportunity for the
further period of job. Moreover, customer relationship manager is dealing with thousands of
people and from all of them it helps to develop the skills. In the process of selling it can be
continuing work with marinating all the services and product relationship.
According to my competencies I have evaluated that’s customer relationship manager can be
best opportunity for me and in the reputed company I will going to join to expand my knowledge
and skills. Also, my strength will corporate with me in the further expansion of knowledge then
time management skill are contributed in this kind of job because it is important to manage all
the time of the people according to meeting (Ooi and Ooi, 2020). Further, I good at technical
knowledge so it important to make the career in this such as digital marketing field in which I
can expand my software knowledge. Also, it has been analysed that there are it is the good
opportunity for the digital marketing position. Along with this, there are marketing executive
option which are also important for the further job. This opportunity is help me in growing and
make me professional. All the field which I have discussed are major career pathways in order to
improve my skill and knowledge. The most preferable job for mines is customer relationship
managers because it helps in increasing good communication skills for the further process. This
can be working for long term.
PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES-
It is the process of making the progress for better jobs, in my case the progression opportunities
are related to climbing the ladder during working life. Also this factors involves to finding new

challenges, opportunities, employees for getting most out of career. Here is the range of potential
progression activities which are included seminars, trade shows, receptions, networking, career
progression etc. To get job after graduation is helps to improve the skills in order to maintain
good business environment. There are different types of problems which are faced by the
students so s that it will help me in resolving the problem. My preference for the job is customer
relationship manager in order to interacts with other people. Due to pandemic it is very typical
for me to get good job at early age. SO it is important to join whatever place which are help to
make professionalism (Rachmajanti, Sulistyo and Suharyadi, 2019).
To become self-employee is help for progression opportunities which are related to self-
control and become autonomy for become self-employed. I would like to become self-
dependent in the early age so that it will help me in further period of life. It is necessary to also
with the job I can pursue my post graduate degree which are help me in increasing the career in
a systematic way. It will be contributing for the further life such as promotion, this opportunity
for the graduate student is important to have. It is important to getting the opportunities like
leadership and management skill that are help in further skill of knowledge. In order to
progress in life, it is necessary to having further process of planning and all. there is different
type of opportunities which are need to face by the employee while doing the job but it is
important to get progressive opportunity. Further, it has been analysed that I have the
opportunity of start my own business.
This is one of the biggest opportunity for me to start my own business as the SME and it will
help in further process of learning new skills. Also, it has been analysed that there are some of
the major point which are help to increase the progress. There are some of the barrier which are
distracting in the further progression such ass lack of confidence. This is the major factor which
are the barrier because it affects whole life and that is why I have decided to build the confidence
first (Wakeling, Bryce and Archer, 2019). Moreover, due to this issue I had lost the career
opportunity as well as it will distract me. In this situation are not behaving in such a way when s
it will support. Stress and burnout are unrealistic expectation in which are hindrance for the
business goal. Also, in this kind of situation there are many problems which are faced by the
person as. The another barrier is inability of communication because sometimes I am not liking
to communicate with people. It has distracted the chance of getting good job in the further life.

CONCLUSION
The report concluded about the refection of the student who has completed the graduation in
business management and the report explained some of the key competencies which are
related to personal key, strength, skills, weakness, graduate employment etc. Being the
management student it is important to get good opportunities for the further job. The careers
prospects for me is customer relationship management which are help to develop the skill and
knowledge in business management. Further, explained the some of the opportunities which
are explore the current situation of employment for the research.
