 To gain the join of an individual wish and interest, he or she
needs to gain the skills and knowledge which are necessary in
acquiring the same. The skills and knowledge which he will
have would help him attaining the success in his field. The
more command a person has on his interest or work, the more
he will be offered by a good and excellent job which is of his
own interest.
Introduction

My dream job is to become a data scientist. To have such a position in the
employment is actually a very deal as it requires the immense knowledge
of data and theories. But they said that a person should always dream big
for himself; that’s why I have this bid dream for myself which I will get
one day. To attain this particular dream there are some skills and
knowledge which is required by this profession and I need to have a great
command on such knowledge and skills (Davies, Perry and Kirkman,
2017). The skills and knowledge which is required in this field are as
follows:

 Research: Research is the core important part of this field or profession.
As a data scientist, the data or the information needs to get collected so
that they can organize and process to get the meaning out of it. And to get
the data research needs to get done. Research can done primary or
secondary through which the researcher gathers the data and information.

 Communication skills: The communication skills are very much
necessary to have in any field which a person is pursuing. Through the
proper communication a person would be able to communicate his or her
thinking, thoughts or the ideas which he has in his mind. A person should
have the command in both written and oral communication. In written
communication he must be able to put his thoughts and ideas or message
in the written form very cleverly so that the receiver must understand
about the idea and the message which the sender wants to say to them
(Dykes and Meyer, 2018).

 Logical reasoning: As a researcher and to interpret the data and information
the ability for logical reasoning is must. The data which has been collected
needs to get its true meaning and to come up with the interpretation, proper
logical reasoning is must. To develop a proper logical reasoning in myself I
have tried to read as much case studies as I can. The case studies have helped
me in seeing the things and situation from every angle. When the things or
situation are seen from various angles then different information comes out
of it (Fukawa and et al., 2019). Logical reasoning can also be developing
through solving the puzzles and reasoning question which I also use to do.

 Numerical: For taking out the meaningful information from the
quantitative data, it is very much necessary to have a command in
numerical. They say information is the key. To take out the meaning for the
past trends, sales, profits, and losses and so on one has to get the
knowledge about numerical. These would help the person in bringing out
the quantitative solutions for the problems. To solve such quantitative
problems a person needs to have the knowledge about the regressions,
correlations, statistics and etc.

 This framework helps an individual in analyzing about the skills
which he has and related action plan for bringing the improvement in
that. Gibbs’ reflection model has a total of 6 stages which are:
 Description: At this stage an individual gives the description
about his or her experience he had. For example if an individual
would test about his communication skills he would undergo through
some tests or activities which would enable him to know about his
current state with communication (Meyer, Dykes and Tory, 2018
Gibb’s reflective cycle:

 Feelings: It refers to the feeling which an individual had at that particular
moment. For example while examining about my communication skill, I was
very much nervous due to which I thinking ability did not able to perform
well.
 Evaluation: At this stage an individual analyze or evaluate about the
situation that where and what went wrong through which he had not achieve
the goal (Sparr, Knipfer and Willems, 2017). For example, I would be finding
out the reasons which had lead to the failure in good communication skill or I
will be finding out the areas of loop whole about how I could not able to
manage my time properly.
