INTRODUCTION
Higher education basically referred to be university level education. It basically offers a
number of qualifications that are ranging from higher national diplomas along with foundation
degrees with courses (Songkram, and et. al. 2021). In order to pursue higher education at
university level it is necessary to some of skills that are to be presented in individuals so that
they could be able develop their career opportunities. This report is based on reflection on higher
education skills from individual's point of view. This report consists of explanation of skills that
are required by individual to pursue higher education, reflection of skills of individual by
carrying out SWOT analysis followed by its conclusion.
MAIN BODY
Skills required by higher education learner.
There are certain skills that are to be essentially present in higher education learner so
that they could be able to develop their career and have their personal and professional
development. Some of skills that are required by higher education learner are as follows: Time management skills: It is necessary for a learner to have time management skills.
As this skill helps learners to make their weekly schedule which could consists time
managing in class, activities, meals, studying and other factors (Segara, Suprijono, and
Setyawan, 2021). In order to pursue higher education it is essential for a student to
manage their time schedule well. Study skills: This skills is defined to be skill of studying different courses at university
levels by having a deep understanding. Study skills helps individuals to carry their
learning by understanding different concepts in order to get effective outcomes in future
time scale. Presentation skills: These skills are considered to be essentially to be present in higher
education learner. As these skills deals in presenting ideas as well as thoughts in front of
large audience. As most of universities are using mode presentation in order teach
students. These skills helps higher education learners to present their ideas and thoughts
in front of large audience without having hesitation.
Communication skills: These skills relates in interacting with other individuals by
sharing their thoughts and ideas (López, 2021). These skills are essentially to be present

in higher education learner so that they could be able to interact with other individuals
and share their ideas. These skills helps in developing morale of learners and it is also
beneficial to get better career opportunities (Whalen and Paez, 2021).
SWOT Analysis of basis of reflection.
In order to pursue higher education at university level it some of skills that are present in
individual is carried by performing reflection through SWOT analysis of individuals. And
according to that SWOT analysis of individual is as follows: Strengths: From this element I determined that I am having strength in my
communication skills. As I find myself extrovert while sharing my ideas with other
individuals. Along with I can communicate with other individuals easily and could be
able to share my ideas effectively. Weaknesses: While pursuing higher education I analysed that I have a weakness of time
management skills, as I am properly not able to manage my time schedule according to
my work activities. And as a result I sometimes I have to face certain challenges that
could lead to problems. Opportunities: While pursuing higher education I could also grab opportunity for
improvising my academic skills so that I could be able learn more with a deep
understanding about different concepts which is beneficial for me to develop my career
goals. My academic and study skills helps in improving my basic knowledge and
understanding that develops my qualification.
Threats: This elements helps me in analysing my barriers and fears and with that I have
identified that along with me there are many learners that are good at their presentation
skills. So in order to get effective and good grades I need to develop my presentation
skills in order to keep myself sustaining in studying environment.
With this reflection of SWOT analysis personal development plan in order to enhance
higher education skills are as follows:

skills of individuals for higher education by stating out SWOT analysis that explains about
evaluation of skills and according to that development plan is prepared inn order to improvize
skills so that individual could be able to perform its higher education at univeristy.
