MANAGEMENT
Three pieces of knowledge or information I did not previously know
Through the reflection, I came to know about the aspect of
mutual understanding or
shared learning. Exchange of notes reflected the initiatives towards bridging the knowledge
and skill inadequacies. Through this exchange process, I also learned about the
work
breakdown structure, which enhanced my awareness about the allocation of roles and
responsibilities. Affirming the arguments of Wheeler, (2019), I also learnt about the
consequences of
working with the incarcerated individuals, which consists of the safety
concerns for the staffs, about which I was unaware. Apart from this, I also gained an insight
into the external communication, which is conducted with the stakeholders through the
involvement of Parole Board members.
Two issues that stood as points of significance for future practice
Approaches of the national sex offenders attains a prime position in the post.
Penetrating into the strategies adopted at the Correctional Services has enhanced my learning
about the ways in which the standards of living of the sexual offenders is upgraded.
Considering the arguments of Arnold, (2019), I feel that
external research is one of the other
factors, which gains significance in terms of excavating the impact of sexual recidivism on
the mental psyche of the individuals. According to me,
regulatory mechanisms is essential
in terms of legalizing community engagement into the mainstream activities.
One question about the topic I wish to seek further information
Which notions of confidentiality apply into the ethical considerations related to the
concept of sexual offence in case of the individuals from non-Western backgrounds?
