INTRODUCTION
Reflective writing is the analytical practice where writer has to describe number of things
related to the topic. It is necessary because every small informations are mentioned where some
of the them are real and some of them are imaginary too. It tells or guides that how any of the
specific work is needed to be done and what are those decision which might bring lots of
changes in future. In this respective project, reflective writing will be based on LIDL Stiftung &
Co. which is one of the biggest supermarket chain in Europe. The founder of the company is
Josef Schwarz (A Lidl Bit of History, 2017). The reflective writing will be based that on the
prevision file where discussion was related about the company that how it perform and how it
can improve and what are the main sources of collective all of the information about the
organisation. In addition, what are those things which has been understood while preparing the
project on LIDL will be discussed in this file. In addition, it was also found that how all of the
work within LIDL is being managed with the help of team management and who are the person
who take most of the sense-able decisions with in the company.
MAIN BODY
The information which I had collected throughout the project was not so easy but still it
was very important for me to collect. The main thing which I found that how well the company
is performing within the market and what they have planned to expand their business cycle
within the large area. The information which were collected will help to understand that how any
work is being managed, what should be the way to motivate any of the employee's and what
types of leadership and management skills can be used to for obtaining the goals of an
organisation. Even I found that what are the weaknesses and strength of a company and where
they should focus more in future for obtaining the mission of a company. The main thing which I
have understood is that LIDL focus is always on delivering the best quality of a product and with
suitable price range and what types of customer do show there main focus on the products of a
company. As company do give the training to their employee's which helps them to work freely
and peacefully due to which customers satisfaction do increases automatically. In short, the data
which I found is that how LIDL sales there product at a reasonable price just to increases the
percentage of revenue.

The things were not easy to collect for me as it is one the biggest supermarket chain were
finding the internal information is very challenging task because of that I have to put my
additional efforts. The first thing which I did is that it tried to find all of the minor data about the
company with the help of online sources such as basic information about the company that in
which market they deal and when was it founded. Also, I tried to find that what are those area
that company covers for performing there business activities. To know about all of the detail
things of LIDL company, I had engaged myself in visiting number of stores of LIDL where have
personally talked with the branch manager. It is necessary because they can directly provide me
the information that how they manage the work and how does they provide the employee's to
work within the premisses of company. I even noticed while focusing on the activities of store
that they mainly focuses that how they can guide the customers regarding the products with there
main speciality which helps to develop the interest of any of the customers. As it was necessary
for me to collect the relevant information from number of sources, it was important that I must
collect some of the information from newspaper article as well that what are the future plans of
the company that where they are going to expand their business and what can be upcoming
strategy to perform much better (BBC on LIDL, 2019). In addition, they are also good in dealing
in pressure and recession period which helps them to maintain their profitability ratio.
Whenever we do any of the work it becomes important for us to understand that what are
the things which will be beneficial for us and that can give number of advantages in future period
of time. The things which I have learned while collecting the information is that how I need to
deal in the pressure situation. The most important is that whenever I need to do any of the
particular task, I need to make sure about my strength and weaknesses so that it future I will not
required to face any sort of problem. This will help me while studying within the University that
at what time I need to take which sort of decisions. This research on LIDL gave the knowledge
that any of the work can be done only if proper training is obtained because that plays the crucial
role in it and even focus is also important for doing any of the specific task. If there is a lack of
concentration that any of the business will suffer with different types of issues at any period of
time.
In addition, it is necessary for everybody to understand that there is not a single work
which can be done without having the detail knowledge about each and every sort of
information. Planning, training is crucial part because it makes any of the work easier and even

in helps to accomplish in short period of time. If any of the organisation wants to perform better,
it is essential for them to do proper planning and even strategies should also be formed and
according to that work is needed to be done so that targets can be easily achieved. I have also
learned that future planning in any of the work is very important so that chances of errors can be
automatically reduced in future and if any of the obstacle comes, people should not stop and
must be able to focus on the work which they are needed to do. Here, focus do plays the crucial
role for obtaining any of the target in best possible manner. In sort, proper team, management
and efforts are very crucial in any of the work.
LIDL has been working really well within the market just to obtain the competitive
advantage in the market. But, work is never done for any of the organisation because they are
required to do changes in every short period of time for the purpose of keeping the interest of any
of the customers. It is necessary for the company do bring some of the changes in future which is
related to Artificial Intelligence. Here, they have the option available with them that they can
take the reviews and feedbacks of customers that what they are required to do in addition so that
they will not face any sort of problem in future regarding delivering the services to its customers.
As company has the mission to work on customers satisfaction so it becomes important add on
the number of stores in small areas where people do have to travel for longer period of time to
purchase any of the product (Big on Quality, Lidl on Price, 2018). As company has the target to
become the number one employer in northern Ireland, it becomes important to understand for
them to know that they are must make the better working environment of each and every branch
because there are number of occasion where employee's or customers are not treated equally and
that create unnecessary problem for the company. Also, they should target the area in which their
company and employee's has the weaker side and because of that they are facing various types of
issues on regular basis.

It is concluded from the above file that reflective writing do plays the crucial role because
it directly impacts the personal capabilities that how well person have understood about the topic
and what they are needed to do in future. It is necessary that any of the organisation should try to
focus that how they can give the appropriate training to there employees so that they can help to
accomplish the target of an organisation. It is necessary to understand that with the help of
reflective writing people can easily improve themselves to do better in future just to obtain their
own goal and target within the specific time period.
