1. SELECTED INCIDENT WITH APPROPRIATE MANAGEMENT
SCENARIO
This present incident is all about change which arise in HSBC, a famous financial
institute. I was leading a team where all people come together in every consent properly. But on
sudden basis, management changed the whole group and allotted new members to me. Now, it
was a core responsibility of me to use functions of management properly so that such consent
will get managed effectively. Thus, it is essential to frame a suitable plan to manage those group
members and organise them as a team for gaining better results as they belong to different
interests. Hence, use of appropriate management function leads to support in managing such
alterations. Although, by using planning, organising, controlling and leadership effective and
appropriate management get done on this incident of change.
2. ANALYSIS OF RELEVANT AREAS OF SCENARIO
This analysis is based on four major functions of management which have to be better
understood by me. Therefore, appropriate work could be managed. Planning: One of the essential things is to plan for dealing with change and any
circumstances. Planned things always provide better and appropriate results. It is
important for me to prepare an appropriate plan to each and every individual by dividing
their work properly and effectively (Chelladurai and Kerwin, 2017). Organising: Next thing which is related with my work to manage this situation of change
is to organise whole unit as a team. For organising them, I need to create a healthy and
effective environment so that every one get interact with each other properly. Leadership: HSBC has to make things correct and appropriate in nature and person need
to lead whole unit properly. Thus, I have to determine the best and suitable technique
which enables me to deal with this change team in order to make them efficient in nature.
This enables them in order to motivate employees as well as bring positive results by
taking care of every employee’s interest.
Controlling: It is essential to conduct and made an appropriate control on every aspect.
Thus, I need to make appropriate control on each and every operations which get done
from new team members (Moran and Morner, 2017). it is important to check and monitor

out their work properly so that chances of deviations get remove and better and effective
gain get promoted.
3. CRITICAL EVALUATION OF PROCESS AND LIMITATIONS
This will enables in order to bring positive results by me as well as from my team as well.
Moreover, I can apply and use communication and staffing strategies into business properly.
Through these two methods, more effectively such issues and problems lead to get deal out.
There are several limitations also get evaluated which associated with this situation in order to
gain better and effective results:
Individual belong to differ interest group which impacted in organising an appropriate
team. Thus, to deal with this, appropriate and suitable steps need to be carried down.
Selection of leadership is another major thing. There are multiple number of techniques
get evaluated in which selection of suitable one and application of it create hurdles.
At the time of controlling many people arise their issue and make nuisance which create
problem (Pipe, 2017).
