Introduction
The reflective report is a written report which presents the views of an individual on a
particular subject. It reflects the ideas and opinions of a student on the study or project
done by him. The main purpose of reflective writing is to analyse the practical
experience and make connections between the theory and practice learnt by the
student (Hendrick, 2017). This reflective report aims at describing my experience in the
group presentation in the class and the things that I have learnt from the experience.
Events and Consequences of Group Representation
In the group, there were four members including me and out of which two members
were new in our class and one member was my good friend so I was happy to work with
him. The topic of our assignment was "Marketing". For preparing for it we met more
than seven times before the final presentation, as we have to give our best. At first, we
made the presentation on the particular topic of marketing in four meetings with
everyone being involved in it. In these meetings, we studied the whole topic and
established a plan on which topic is to be done by whom and in what way it is to be
presented.
We distributed the topic in four parts and studied and learnt it to the depth. We studied
thoroughly all the parts of the topic which was not given to us in case if the professor
asked the topic to one who doesn't read it. While making the assignment we all work
together to make the assignment with our best knowledge on marketing, presentation
styles and grammar. This helps me in increasing my knowledge on the topic and how to
work with a team because this was my first time to work in a team (Adler et al., 2016).
As the work starts and develops, we were not sure that the work will be done on time
due to which I became very impatient and started to work on my own without taking any
suggestions from others. Everyone has a different opinion in the group which led to
clashes among us. But for the completion we have to work together, so we ended our
ego and starts working by taking everyone's opinion. After some time our work was
completed with good editing and presentation style.

After the completion of the assignment, we started to prepare for the class presentation
in which we have to give speeches on the work done by us. I was very nervous as I had
never presented myself in front of so many people. So we started preparing for this and
rehearse for hours to give our best with the help of each other and become better day
by day. For the rehearsals, we establish environment resembled the classroom at our
place and starts debating on the topic and asks the question with each other which can
be possibly asked by the professors. Rehearsals were the most interesting part of the
group presentation as we were having fun in doing debates and communicating with
others on different topics and trying to learn something from each other.
Then the day of the presentation came and we all are very scared about it. But by
supporting each other we went to class and presented our assignment in front of
colleagues and the professors. Firstly, I introduced myself and my team members to
everyone present in the class. Then the presentation started and I was the first one to
introduce the topic, its importance, benefits and the consequences. After completing my
part in the presentation my other team members present their part with good confidence
(Adler et al., 2016). At the end of the discussion, the professor asked the question of
which we give answers correctly and I think that they like our work and confidence
because of the smile they had given at last. And after the result came, we all got A
grade for it and we all were very happy.
Conclusion
This group presentation was one of my best experiences I ever had. As it made me
comfortable to work with others and give the confidence to present myself in front of the
crowd and not being nervous (Drew, 2016). It helps me how to be patient in times of
deadlines and work in a manner best for all. After this experience, I will always avoid the
delay in the work and being impatient in doing the tasks. For this, I have to change
myself to be efficient in my work and regularly involve myself in the group tasks and
debates to increase my confidence level.
