Content and structure of classroom and working sessions.
As a whole, the Promotions and Public Relations has been one of the most interesting and
mind opening course during this semester. The classroom culture and working session involved
lectures from the professor and student discussions and presentations.
Assessments used for the unit and the timing of assessments
Also, throughout the course we covered various learning activities, both in theory and practical
work. As such, the course activities comprised of assignments such as writing individual
workbooks on a weekly basis, group projects, among others.
Details contained in the Marketing Rubric and other assessment guidelines used by the
instructor
The marketing rubric and other assessment guidelines utilized by the instructor are also
clear and very informative. Through these materials, learners are can understand the results and
outcomes that the professor expects after handing out assignments in the course. Given the
clarity of the instructions in the rubric, every student is able to steer his responses towards the
directions as stated in the guidelines and rubric.
Discuss any major concerns you have about your project/group work.

difficulties to get started with the assignment, ineffective communication between group
members, and domineering personalities among some members1.
Discuss how did you handled any issues that you had with your team-members.
We were able to solve these issues by ensuring that each member of the team had a chance to
contribute. To ensure equal participation, we divided and delegated tasks equally among
members. Fahad and Bader were in charge of game idea development. Nawal researched on the
risks and measures of success and the expected outcomes. Nora was tasked with the deliverables,
target audience and objectives. Lastly, Hussain worked on the key messages, strategy, constraints
and deadlines.
Discuss how you changed the way you did things in terms of working within a group
All team members worked collectively on reviewing the project brief and feedback from client.
It is worth pointing out that all members worked with zeal and contributed positively to the
assignment. Given that tasks were equally allocated, we had no conflicts among team members.
Recommendations for improvements to the course
All in all, the course is well structured and informative. It helps the student participate actively
throughout the semester. The only thing that I can recommend for improvement in the course is
to increase the number of group assignments as they are very informative and help students to
learn from each other2.
