LSST Reflective Report: Professional Skills Development & Challenges

This report provides a reflective analysis of three professional development challenges: an Apprentice Challenge, a Presentation Challenge, and a T-Shirt Challenge. Each challenge is examined in terms of the skills developed, including communication, teamwork, time management, and business acumen. The report also analyzes each challenge from a business perspective, focusing on branding, finance, and operations. Tuckman's theory on teamwork is discussed in relation to group development. The report concludes with an action plan for enhancing communication skills, utilizing the SMART goal framework. INTRODUCTION
Professional development is the growth and enhancement in abilities in respect to satisfy their
requirements. It supports in enhancing about the abilities and knowledge of the person by which
they can accomplishment their sections. The professional growth aid in developing a sight for the
attainment and aspects, abilities and ability to follows their goals for success (Aicher, Minker,
and Ultes, 2021). In respect to develop the career, it is essential to need the abilities by which
they can plan and negotiate that can be done and network can be develop. It also include
scholarship from the experience and manner of the sections. The following report covers the
scenario of the reflection of three challenges.
MAIN BODY
Apprentice Challenge
It is a challenges that are purpose to enhance the interaction abilities and also stimulate
the team to deal with the several manner of the thoughts. When I was pursing my report, I deal
up with such sort of the issues in my University that is London School of Science and
Technology (LSST). At the time of managing such challenges, I created the following skills that
areas follows -
 Communication skills – It is essential for the students to have the abilities. As the
students, I had faced highly challenging activities to create such skills and such abilities
will help me in developing the communication to my group members. Such skills has
supported me in following such issues with no barriers. While I was dealing up the
activities, communication abilities also supported me in offering my data to all efficient
terms by which they can clear in their task.
 Teamwork - As a scholar, according to me, group members is very essential as it
supports in dealing with the actions with other (Doherty, and McLaughlin, 2021). Such
skills have supported me in dividing the pressure level of the challenges that at last
supported me in working efficiently. At the primary section of the challenges, my team
working abilities were weak but managing it after overcoming barrier is important. As I
effectively created such abilities and work with others with full cooperation and
coordination.

 Time Management skills – Such abilities are very essential at the level of theoretical.
Time management abilities also supported me in following hold the values in my
personalized and as well as in my professional life as I am able to satisfy my activities on
time.
 Business skills and competencies developed – As a scholar, creating such abilities was
a issue for me. It include several abilities and competence that has supported me in
effective execution of the challenges (Korpaš, 2021). By creating managerial ability and
abilities, I was capable to take effective and efficient decisions that manage effective
dealings in our task and I also created the issue resolution abilities that supported me in
forthcoming the barriers.
Presentation Challenge
It is a procedure of providing the manner of the customers. When I performing in Tesco
Plc management, I was given presenting challenges where I was capable to deal my data to the
consumers. Management is a larger organisation that operates their functions in grocery store and
broad commodity, so I was offered task to satisfy the consumers and supported with their
facilities.
 Communication skills – As I was performing in the business Tesco, I created the
communication abilities that supported group members in providing my data to the
individuals who have manage to deal with us. Such abilities played an essential function
in my professional development that I was capable to complete the presentation
challenges and create such skills.
 Teamwork – It is termed as one of an essential ability in the professional global as
performing in business will include group mate. As I was performing in Tesco, I was
capable to create such abilities by communicating with our group members. Hence, I can
sort my problems and issues (Matos, and et.al., 2021). Such skills supported me in
performing with coordination and by which I have enlightened to perform with following
the thoughts of others.
 Time Management skills – It is an essential term to maintain the time at the time of
performing task. At the time of performance in management, I was capable to execute my
task on time by which I could accomplish group goals. Such abilities were created when I
was capable to present my equivalent and corresponding case to my presentation where I

was capable to maintain each consumers who came to help the facilities of the business.
Hence, such abilities had effectively supported me in executing such challenges.
 Business skills and competencies developed – In the professional course work,
managerial abilities and competence that plays effective role. At the time when I was
presenting my task in Tesco and I got the presentation competencies that involves
problems solving skills, decision making, leadership and so on (Morrissey, Purvis, and
Purvis, 2021). At the time of following with the consumers, I followed phrases the
statement of the goods so such ability were created that I will have an impact on any
consumer's enquiry.
T-Shirt Challenge
It is an issue that was understand to promoted new T-shirt. I was dealing with manner to
promote new T-shirt that shows the trade name and trademark of the business. This challenges
has led to growth of particular abilities that are as follows -
 Communication skills – As I were performing in the management, I was presented such
opportunities to advances the T-shirt. The communication abilities was created by the
group when I was following such skills ability. As I was performing in merchandising
division, I had to offers the marketing investigation that I had to my group so such
abilities was created at this time.
 Teamwork – Such abilities was created when I was performing with the marketing
group. I have to cooperated with other mates of the division and work with them in
respect to effectively complete such challenges (Murray, and et.al., 2021). When any
market investigation is completed, it is common with everybody to that tactics that might
be develop to manage with them so it help me in creating such skills.
 Time Management skills – At the time of performance for T-shirt challenge, I was
capable to create such abilities so I had followed to perform as per to orientated goals. I
created field in my performance with my superior with strictness and promptness that are
to be capable to create such abilities by my superior.
 Business skills and competencies developed – While following such challenges, I was
capable to create expertise in me that I have communicate with the consumers and
persuade consumers to buy the T-shirt. Such managerial abilities were created by me at
the time of undergoing it that I have take decisions effectively.

Analysis Of Each Challenge From A Business Angle And Knowledge Gained
From About How Businesses Actually Work.
Branding
At the time, I was following presentation skills, I created communicating abilities that supported
me in stigmatization about new goods. As I was involved in managing with the consumers that
require such abilities so that I can deliver m data suitably with others. Hence, such skills
supported me in presenting my activities for branding.
Finance
At the time, I was assigned the challenge of T-shirt that I created the time management skills.
Such abilities is use by me in my economical section where I was capable to create the
expenditure program in assigned case (Seyed Mousavi, and et.al., 2021). Group work skills also
supported me in developing the monetary fund of the divisions that I was capable to
communicate and organize with other section at the time of making plan for them.
Operations
At the time of performance for the functional divisions, I use my time management that
supported me effectively to complete the actions. As I was performing in the manufacture
division that I were capable to execute the activities on the assigned goals that brought
effectiveness in the task.
Tuckman’s Theory on Teamwork
It such theory is concentrates on the five sections of the growth for groups that are presented by
Bruce Tuckman in the year of 1964. The sections of group advancement that are as follows - Forming – In it, the group is defined and each groups of the team will communicate with
other as it introduce the group (Zeng, and Zeng, 2021). Storming – It covers the mates of group who are capable to understand about the aspects
of the group mates. Norming – It involves the group ates who acknowledge the strengths of the group mates
and outset to attend each other. Hence, everyone impart their suitable and perform their
task as an effective manner of business. Performing – It covers the mates who are assured, encourages with their task for that the
group is develop and can perform with no social control.

 Adjourning - The group is disperse after the targets are achieved. It include covering the
final activities.
Action Plan
The SMART goal for creating the communication abilities are as follows - Specific- The targets is to create the communicating abilities by which I can enhance my
show my abilities. Measurable- This targets shall be evaluated by my presentation where I have utilised
such abilities for future enhancement. Achievable - I will accomplish such abilities by following the field by which I can
effectively increase my communication skill (Zhang, Dawson, and Kline, 2021). Relevant- To ensure their reliability, I have to follow various certification in respect to
prove their relevance.
 Time frame- I will acquire such abilities in 5 months
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, there are three challenges that have
been interpreted that supported in creating several abilities such as teamwork, communication,
time management and business skills. Moreover, Tuckman theory is followed in regards to group
growth and SMART objective for the growth of communication abilities that will aid future
courses of skills.
