REFLECTION
The following is the reflective statement of my own experiences which I came across at
the time of conducting this project on the topic of “Organisational Behaviour”. Reflectino is very
important as it provides an individual with their own strengths and weaknesses (Rigg, 2018).
This project was provided to me by our teacher around a month ago. This assignment was
provided to me and my friends in the class and it was the first time when I was coming across
with the experience of working in a team or group. There were four members in my group
including me who were also involved in the process of completing this project. However, I had
experienced working as an individual in completing the assignment but had not yet experiences
about working in a group. The reason behind making groups for the completion of this
assignment was related to the complexity of the assignment and also it was big also, according to
me. So after we were provided with the project, which we needed to complete, so the complete
project was divided in four parts and the effective completion of all these tasks will also help in
making this project to be effective to provide us good marks. Firstly, I decided to do the research
for the data which is needed to make the completion of the project to be successful. It means
there should be something to have to write in the project and the work of finding the content was
chosen by me. Another member of our group decided to write the content which I had founded
for completing the project in the correct way and formatting so that it must complete the marking
criteria of the project to give positive outcomes from the work done by them. The third member
of the team decided to present the work done by all of us after the completion of the project in
front of the teacher by understanding and reading the content written in the project and the last
member of out team decided to proof read and verify the content written in the project so that it
can be made sure that the work is going in the right direction to get the desired results from the
work. So with the help of collective working of all the members of the team, it has become
possible for all of us to make the completion of the assignment provided to use in the right way
and to have positive outcome from the work done by us.
At the time, when I was provided with this task, I was feeling a good and relaxed because
I had completed some assignments before also so there was nothing new to feeling in this work
provided. But the main thing that made to feel a little bit excited and fearful was related to
working in a team as this was the first time when I was having the experience of working in a
team. It was because I trust very less on others because I can take charge of my own

responsibility only, I cannot make sure about the work of other individuals in the team that how
they will work and what will be their performance before working with them. So it made me
quite demotivated because I do not want to be my marks deducted due to bad work performance
of other people. That is why I prefer to work alone as for the good and bad I will be the only
person who will be held responsible. But during the time when we all were working in the
project, it was not much hard for me to mingle with them as they all were cooperative and were
good to much extent in their work and this made me to feel a little bit confident about their work
and also motivated myself to work for the best of our group. They all were cooperative and
coordinative. Cooperation and coordination is the essence of every team (Wang and et. al.,
2018).
As they were helping, they were clearing their doubts and also conforming from others
which helps in completing the assignment in an effective and efficient manner. After making
completion of this assignment, I felt relaxed and good as much hard work for done for making
this assignment to the best in the class. Every information written in the assignment was
completely checked and also analysed whether the information is right or wrong and then only it
was written in the assignment. So due to this, I was a little bit tensed because we worked for the
project to complete and was tensed about the outcome of our work. When I look back to the
situation, a flashback was created in my mind about what we all did, how it happened, what were
the positive things, what was negative, what should be done better to make more effective the
work and many more things. But overall regret was not there after completing the project. Other
members of the team were also happy and confident as I think they were also sure about their
work which they had performed for completing the project in an efficient and effective way.
After the completion of this project, according to their faces, it is clear that they all are
happy and are feeling relaxed after a long time because in real, the assignment was not easy.
During the complete project, the best part was related to the coordination and cooperative
behaviour of all the team members as I did not think this in the starting that they will be this
much cooperative, good working and helpful but my thinking was changed when I worked with
these guys. The major role in this assignment was of the theories and models which are very
important to know (Ab Rashid, 2018). This was the only positive experience in the whole project
which I came across and there were also some negative experiences as well in the whole course
of this project because the project was not easy, I found the relevant content for the assignment

but one of our team members was not able to sort out the theories and models and their
application in context of the chosen organisation, this has made a little bit delay in the speed on
the project which was further covered by giving the project some extra time to complete it and
cover the lost speed of the assignment. This was the negative experience in the assignment but it
was also okay because from the mistakes or negative experiences only, it will be possible to have
something new and innovative in the work. Mistakes helps a lot in developing several new
positive experiences. So in order to cover the lost speed of the assignment, I started to improve
the work of my speed so that I could have some time to help the other member of our team. So
with the help of this, it will be possible for me ad my team to cover up the lost progress of my
work. Not only me but also the other members of my team also made their contribution in
providing him help so that he could know about how to understand and write down those
theories and models in the content. As he was not much sufficient in doing the work with which
he was provided so he was said to some other work such as helping me in my part and the person
was made responsible to complete his part of work so that by exchanging the work it will be
possible to make the completion of the project on time. In this way, the work was completed in
time and the project was made successful.
From the following situations, thee were many thing which I came to learn and will also
help me in my future. One of the most important was the coordination and cooperation which is
important in individuals' at the time of working in a team. With the help of coordination and
cooperation it will be possible for them to achieve the goal and objective for which the team has
been established (SINGH and Kumar, 2018). Before working with this project, I was not known
with the importance of the working in a team. In addition to this, there are also some ore skills
which I needed to make improvement such as the team development skills and learning skills as
well as the communication skills. With the help of these skills, it is possible to provide the team
with right direction and to work in the right way (Liu and et. al., 2018). With the help of
improvement in learning skills, it will be possible for me to understand more better such as I was
also not much good in knowing about the theories or those models also that how they are
implemented and where they are applied. So this lack of learning skills also made me to feel
incompetent during the whole course of work. Last was the communication skills with the help
of which, I will be able to make the other person to understand the same thing which I want to
convey to him. In future, if I will be ever provided with these kind of project, I will make sure to

improve these skills as they are very helpful in not only conducting these projects only but also
in real life as well.
