REFLECTIVE PORTFOLIO

Research Philosophy
It is considered as a most important research methods that offers researcher
noteworthy understandings with respect methods of collecting and evaluating relevant data.
Interpretivism and positivism are two major research philosophies which are used by
researcher as per the given subject matter. Interpretivism philosophy briefs about complex
world and construes wide-ranging pattern and theories. It chiefly helps in finding out the
reasons for the varied action of individuals. Apart from it, positivism philosophy is used
when hypothesis is being developed. Under this, quantitative set of data is required along
with huge sample size. From both of these types’ philosophies, Interpretivism is one of the
best and most suitable research philosophy which helps in gaining in-depth knowledge of the
subject matter. Through interpretivism philosophy, interpretation can be done by the
researcher over the responses that attained by the research participants. Employees can give
brief information about all those factors which affects their level of satisfaction as well as
commitment towards their company. This philosophy determines that that in depth accurate
assessment of human behaviour is obtained by selecting most appropriate data collection
technique.

With the help of module, I have gain significant learning with respect to research.
Through this, I am acknowledge about conducting literature review along with critical
analysis of different facts that will certainly help me in gaining new insight about the subject
matter. Another learning in this context is gaining of key information of research
methodology. Now, I can work on research paper and working paper through which my
research part will get strong that certainly support me in strengthening my CV. From this
learning, I can do doctorate also that will aid me in securing progressive career. Also, this
learning will help me in gaining career in the field of research which is again an opportunity
for me. Apart from this, I have learned about data analysis approach as well. This learning
will help me in gaining high grades in my academics. From this, my critical thinking skills
also gets improved that will help me in taking sound and effectual decision in future. Overall,
