This reflective log presents an individual's self-assessment of their performance in a research assignment focused on strategic business development. Therefore when I undertook the above analysis, I was able to learn many new things
which were previously not known to me. In regard of this, I would like to mention that the
following skills assisted me in completing my tasks:
 Analytical skills: It assisted me to represent the data which was collected in an effective
manner and additionally through this; I was able to ensure that I am being able to include
only relevant information in the report.
 Research skills: The research skills greatly assisted me to ensure that I am successfully
being able to deal with the different factors lying in the external environment of the firm
and present an analysis of the most important skills present in the environment.
 Organizational skills: My organizational skills enabled me to present the research in a
timely manner which enabled me to undertake the right kind of approach to the study and
design the research in a comprehensive manner.
However, I believe that although I was able to improve my overall activities, there still
lies a considerable area where I will be able to perform well.
These areas can be stated to be as follows:
1. Time management: I need to work on my time management skills which will then enable
me to ensure that I am successfully able to undertake initiatives which will assist in
ensuring that I am being able to submit the tasks and conduct the research in a timely
manner.
