Assignment 2
There are many problems which are being faced by an individual while attending
seminars and classes. This could help me to improve my knowledge and skills of a particular
topic i.e. impact of globalisation upon a business organisation. During this assignment, I saw a
lot of new things that were very new for me. As I have good knowledge of my course but when I
attend this class I thought that I was completely incognizant about some major topics. My
professors taught me many new things by through which I can easily groom up my skills and
knowledge regarding how to manage a new business organisation. It also helps me that how to
modify existing style of a company. Apart from this, I also learned new method of teaching,
these professors used audio and video methods. They also took help of various examples so as
students can better understand the concepts of overall project. In this overall programme I
noticed that lecturers were power point presentation that is more effective rather than a casual
lecture. There are came diverse professors who belongs from various fields i.e. management,
science. They shared their experiences with us, that was very helpful for me as I can decide my
career growth in a particular field.
In that seminar, professors effectively and efficiently gives all answers of students and
they were also provide information about impact of globalisation on a country's economy. It was
very useful for me; I am economics student. We also had discussion over it which was out of our
course. Participation in various seminars and debate activities was also beneficial as I can
acquire thinking of other people on a particular topic. For example- I think that economic
recession in a country impact upon unemployment and customers' buying behaviour whereas
other people gives his or her opinion of the same that economic recession also effects growth
domestic product rate and inflation rate of the nation. Apart from this, when me and my friends
group study together, we shared our ideas and view points with each other this helps use to
increase our knowledge. We took help someone who is specialised of this topic and can teach us
that is really very beneficial for all of my team members and me. I put many questions to my
professors this was reduced by all queries and issues regarding globalisation.
But there are many problems which I faced during this seminars, many topics which are
too hard to understand for me, but I did not lose my confidence and continuously focused on
reading more and more about this topic. Many lengthy and theoretical units of this topic were

also made me bored; results I did not concentrate on some major sections which were related to
my research. If we talked about impact of globalisation, so as I recommended that a business
organisation needs to evaluate all those factors which put a huge impact on its growth and
survival. If a company wants to adopt globalisation, so as it needs to provide quality products
and services to its international customers in order to gain more profits and sales. A firm needs to
develop its strategies and policies that how to attain and retain loyal buyers towards a company
in competitive market.
Now let us come to the learnings about seminars and workshops. My professors were
helped some case studies that were related with real life experiences; I was impressed with all of
them because this was given me a lot of new experiences. In this era, their implementation of
case studies was really very good ways this gives an individual that how he or she can starts their
own business. Apart from this, there is an issues which I was faced during this research, the
classes were too long, I was too difficult to focus regularly on a particular topic. This is a biggest
barrier in learning process as I started sleepy during my classed. Through, I cannot make proper
note that is very essential part. Sometimes I did not capable to wrote more due to lack of
interested towards some units.
One of them professor was taught us too fast so as it is very difficult to understand practical
theorems and questions. I got half only which was taught by them. Whereas some teachers
preferred to communicate orally the overall topic, they did not give us any kind of notes and
study material. It is impossible to recognise a topic for a long term period.
Besides all of these problems, I also have an issue that my eye sight is too week and
sometimes I got late in class as seated on last bench. Due to this, could not properly saw what is
written by professors on board. In addition, I was not capable to make my notes in a systematic
manner. I needed to saw on my friend's note book. I also not able to wake in early morning this
could also impact upon my learning process as many of my lectures were scheduled in morning.
If I attend the class as resulted I was fault sleepy. This can also diminish my learning capabilities
that is very essential if I want to learn something new and innovative. I don't have my own
vehicle as I face many troubles in getting bus on time.
At last I think that I really want to cope up or reduces all these issues so as I need to take
some appropriate actions upon them. So as I need to improve my habits as it helps to achieve my
career growth and success. Apart from this, I do not understand any topic so as need to give it

more time or to consult it with my professors. They can also teach me personally if I ask them. I
have to take participate in various activities and debated which are held in my college, this could
help me know other point of views of other people. I think group study is really beneficial for
me, I has a vital role in growth and development of an individual. I also need to develop my
skills by own learning methods, I needs to take help of internet and various websites so as I can
gain knowledge about those topic which were I missed.
