Sociological Analysis: Refugee Interviews and Program Perspectives

This report presents an analysis of two interview transcripts with refugees. Interview Script
1. Can you briefly talk about yourself? What do you do for a living?
Yes I am a refugee however I came with my parents some years back and have not gone back since.
2. If you are a refugee, what makes you leave your country?
Internal war
Great jobs and sound living style in Europe.
3. If you are a refugee, is it difficult to find job here?
Yes, it becomes very difficult. Yes, many work permits are required for the jobs. We have various
disadvantages of going out but we still need to go out for associate’s safety purposes.
4. Can you tell me about how much are you aware of current refugee phenomenon?
I have an idea about the number of refugees, countries like the UK, France and Ireland accept large
refugees.
5. What do you think of the reaction of countries that accept refugees than others? Please be specific.
Their balance needs to be maintained accordingly and they need to accept new refugees.
6. What is your opinion about the treatment of the government towards the refugee?
They are treated well but undergo considerate harassment if no documents are thee. 7. What are your
thoughts about accepting refugees?
7. Do you think there are any side effects of accepting refugees?
Yes, loss of jobs for individuals, pressure on environment and the associated costs which keep piling up.
8. Can you tell me about your perspective of how the future refugee program should be?
In the future the program needs to look out for the fact that the operations can take place well.

I am not comfortable giving out personal details.

Climate change and environment

Very difficult as we lack adequate documents. Moreover, we have no proof of knowledge attainment
due to the escape aspects.
4. Can you tell me about how much are you aware of current refugee phenomenon?
It is very poorly designed and adequate initiatives have to be taken to improve it.
5. What do you think of the reaction of countries that accept refugees than others? Please be specific.
Some countries work seriously whereas others do not want to take refugees. They blame the scenarios
like Virus to take claim...
7. Do you think there are any side effects of accepting refugees?

8. Can you tell me about your perspective of how the future refugee program should be?
The program is very cumbersome and should be designed again.
