Respected Sir / Madam,
With due respect, I would like to inform you that I am (Your name), working as a social
worker in the NGO named Canadian Council for Refugees. I am directing this application to the

high officials of the mentioned personnel to support, as well as an appreciation of the work of
our ministers regarding immigration or refugee in our country. This application is on the basis of
a request for supporting the refugees who have to come to this country for any issue regarding
race, nationality, religion, any political opinion in their country. There may be a risk of their life
if they return to their home country. In our country, there are several refugee centers in almost
every province, such as Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and many others (Tyyskä et al., 2017). The
environment of such centers is not so well as hygienic. I am writing this application to support
and sponsor them in many ways from your end.

A refugee is a person who origins from outside of Canada and comes to this country for
some reason but does not want to return to his home country. There are various numbers of
refugee claimants in this country in its different provinces. Almost 320, 206, 146 persons have
claimed for detention in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, which are provinces of Canada. In
the year 2017, almost 50, 444 people have been claimed for refugee status all over Canada
(Cameron, 2016). Thousands of people have come to Canada as a refugee from Haiti, Nigeria,
the US, Turkey, Pakistan, Mexico, India, Syria, Colombia, Venezuela, and many other countries.
The number of such refugees is huge. The maintenance of such refugees should be taken into a
big concern in my country.
I have visited various refugee centers such as the Refugee Center in Montreal, the
Canadian Center for Refugee & Immigrant Health Care in Ontario, Refugee and Immigrant
Welcome Center in British Columbia, FCJ Refugee Center in Ontario, VIRCS in Victoria and
many others (Kovinthan, 2016). They are maintaining well in such a perspective of the welfare
of refugees. I have interacted with many officials of those refugee centers. It can be summarized
from their interaction that they are getting support from the government of Canada. Many of
them expressed my team and me that they want some monetary help to the government, as well
as from the other NGOs or businesspersons.
The government of Canada has regarded as one of the leading countries for the
resettlement of refugees, and it has recently settled more refugees than the other countries. Leah
Hamilton, Luisa Veronis, and Walton Roberts have discussed in their article that the procedure
of Syrian Refugees of the government of Canada was extraordinary (Hamilton, Veronis, &
Walton-Roberts, 2019). The government has tried to resettle the refugees. There are several
problems that arise in such resettlement of refugees, such as education of youth refugees and also

included social, academic, and language problems. According to them, these issues should be
addressed, as well as monitored closely. Some experts have concerned about the mental health
response of the government of Canada for arriving refugees. It should give concentrate on the
development of common people’s wellness, as well as recognizing the incredible flexibility of
refugee people (Agic et al., 2016). According to them, the Canadian government should support
to the refugees for the progression of their mental health. Resettlement Assistance Program
(RAP) has given to the refugees following the assistance of the government, such as essential
and immediate supports for the basic needs of them.
Therefore, by such statistics, my experiments, research, as well as by experts’ decisions
on the matter of refugees, there are several supports, which a refugee is entitled to get. They can
get the support of temporary housing, the help of registering for such mandatory provincial and
federal programs, public transportation, education, as well as a system of health care. They can
also get support for mental health from the government of Canada.

refugee people what they have entitled to get such supporting essentials.
