INTRODUCTION
Personal development is fundamentally a wide term process that helps in developing the
abilities and knowledge of an individual by which their targets can be get accomplished in an
effective and efficient manner. It aids in increasing the confidence level of the person so that
their orientated goals can be accomplished adequately. If the individual will not develop its
skills, then it can affect the images of the person in front of the others. If the individual wants to
become successful in life, then it is important for the individual to enhance its knowledge and
skills accordingly so that career growth of the individual can take place. There are different goals
which are individual wants to achieve in life and which helps them to achieve their targets more
effectively. Professional development helps in adding the professionalism in the working style of
the individual so that individual can develop its positive image in front of the others. It helps in
creating a positive image in front of the others so that goals can be achieved properly. In the
following report concept of personal and professional growth or advancement will be discussed
and value of short, medium and long term targets should also be demonstrated also the purpose
of personal development plan will be discussed (Othman, 2018).

Personal development aid in increasing and improving the abilities of an individual by
which their targets will get accomplished as effectively. Personal and professional development
plans are strategies that help improve individual knowledge and core competencies. These
improvement strategies help perform specific roles and responsibilities, leading to better career
growth and opportunities. Personal development can improve an individual ability, improve an
individual achievement, and increase opportunities for growth. It also improves an individual's
weaknesses so that they can effectively reach their goals (Matveeva, 2020). Professional
development helps prepare an individual's career, develops the skills of the individual's
organization, and the overall development of the individual takes place. Individuals can develop.
Proper development of the individual is very important before entering some areas. Individuals
do not hesitate while communicating with others

lifestyle. There are three short-term goals:

then it will help in developing the skills which will further helps in increasing my skills
and knowledge. If the student will not pay attention in the class room, then they will not
be able to achieve its goals in the effectively. Growth of the individual takes place from
the initial stages due to which individual have to pay proper attention during the lectures
which is taking place so that knowledge of the individual can be improved and growth
and take place (Young II, 2019).
ď‚· Participating in every practical session: If I will participate in every practical session
which is taking place then it will help in boosting my confidence level which will further
enhancing my performance so that I can perform with full efficiency in the future because
if the individual will not perform properly then it can affect the growth of the individual
in the economy due to which they will not be able to become successful in life. So for
becoming successful in life it is important for the individual to try practical think so that
they can get more knowledge for the task which they have to perform.
ď‚· Developing the comprehensive skill set: Enhancing the skills is very important for the
individual to become successful in life because if the individual will not have proper
skills then they will not be able to survive in the economy due to which their performance
will also get affected. every organisation requires various skills which the employees
should have so that growth of the business can take place. Lack of skills and knowledge
can affect the productivity of the business.

Achieving medium-term targets will take high set of time, but it will take up to six months or
longer and it will rely on the capabilities of individuals (Petersen, 2017). When individuals
achieve their short-term goals, they begin preparing for their medium-term goals. Some of the
goals that I must achieve that are as follows -

ď‚· Completing the graduation from regent college: my medium term goals is to complete my
graduation from the regent college because it is the one of the top colleges if the will get
qualified from this college my growth chances will be increase and I will be able to
achieve my future goals effectively. completing the studies from repetitive college always
adds the positive point in the skills and knowledge due to which it creates positive image
in front of the others.
ď‚· Taking the internship in the specified field: Internship helps in training the individual for
the future it helps in developing the professionalism in the individual due to which they
are able to perform professionally the task which is given to them. Internships helps in
providing the proper guidance to the employees due to which are able to perform to
perform their duties in the more appropriate manner. Before going in any profession
proper training is very important to increase the knowledge of the individual with the
help of internship programs i will be able to learn new and innovative things (Dean,
2017).

particular field will helps in developing the efficiency and confidence level of the
individual so that it which will improve the quality of the work which they are
performing different field have various requirement which the employees needs to fulfil

them so that they can achieve the goals of the business properly and increase the revenue
of the company in the marketplace. knowledge and skills of the employees will improve
the services of the company due to which productivity of the employees will also get
affected.

the good position in the top company. Due to which I need to work on my skills and the

my goals in the future. Top position have various responsibility which needs to be
fulfilled so that growth of the company can take place in the marketplace.

are different training programs which is taking place on offline and online platform
which I will be taking to gain knowledge about the field in which I have to enter so that I

individual. It will involve the term of manner that have several set of the sections such as broad
career options or progression or advancement, it has basic set of the manner that have effective
course of the output in an individual with effective or efficient set of the skills and sense of

From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, personal development is the
manner that are utilised by the individuals with promoted section of the working. They have
effective and efficient course of activities with learning proficient terms that will supports the
manner of the development and advancement for the further section of the individuals as
effectively and efficiently. With the help of personal development, an individual can develop a
variety of strategies that are more conducive to increasing the potential for personal growth I
have developed my personal development and I have written down the skills which I need to
achieve within a set period of time for my overall development.
