In order to determine the external environment of the aged care sector, it is beneficial to
use Pestle analysis which identifies different factor that affect the entire industry which are as
mention:
Political factor: the healthcare industry impact by many factor such that insurance
mandates, different tax legislation, consumer protection etc. further, government of Australia
also spent lot amount for a healthcare which can be benefited by different tax policy changes
(Rastogi and Trivedi, 2016). On the other side, sudden changes in policy also affect the entire
industry in opposite way especially with changing healthcare bills and plans.
Economic Factor: The industry also affect by many economic factor such that inflation,
unemployment. As there are many company under healthcare industry who manufacture medical
devices and many people are not able to pay the rate when there is increased rate of
