Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Pines City Colleges in the year 2010. After I completed my Bachelor’s
in nursing, I got recruited as a registered nursing the emergency department in the Urdaneta Sacred Heart
Hospital. I have worked there for about three years, after which I got admitted in George Brown College and
received an Academic Pathway for the Internationally Educated nurses (IEN) Graduate. Being a registered nurse,
I had attended emergency patients and have supervised the patients, obtained their vital signs, have demonstrated
critical thinking skills in order to understand the underlying clinical manifestation of the patients. I have gained
expertise in providing intravenous medications, trauma to the patients, cardiac monitoring of the patient. While
working as a registered nurse, I believe, that I have developed a sound judgment, good observational skills,
problem solving and teaching skills. I believe that I have developed effective communication and decision
making skills, as I have been more interactive to the patients and the families. I always strive to acquaint myself
with the family members of the patients as well as the administrative members for facilitating an effective long
term plan of care.
I have learned in a variety of nursing environment, including the emergency room and home health care
services.
I have enhanced my experience by working as a registered nurse in the Urdaneta Sacred Heart Hospital. I had
completed my clinical placement at the Sunny Brook hospital for three month and in Bridgepoint Sinai Health

System for about 7 months.Throughout my journey in the placement area, I have always been regarded as a
dedicated, reliable and ambitious person, who has the ability to work under pressure and without much
supervision. While I was employed as a registered nurse, I had been recommended for handling challenging
situations with patient.
