organization. As a professional Registered Nurse, I have gained extensive clinical experience in

I have 21 years of professional experience as a staff nurse and a charge nurse in Children’s
Hermann Hospital in executing multidisciplinary roles in clinical settings. I have performed
nursing responsibilities as a charge nurse as well as a clinical manager with great awareness
within the clinical unit. As a charge nurse, I have performed daily operations of extensive care
within the maternal care unit of 41-bed unit. I have performed the role of a mentor and model for
a junior nursing team of fifteen nurses and enriched them with nursing education. I have also
provided nursing education as a senior to nursing students.
As a skilled staff nurse, I have performed lactation services and transitional nursery duties
involved in transitioning newborns from intra-uterine to extra-uterine life with high efficiency

the needs of the maternity unit on a regular schedule. I have performed a short term role of six
months as a clinical manager where I have performed leadership roles to assign and counsel

nursing duties with extreme maternal care. I am a focused and a fast learner. I am adept in

expert skills in software usage in electronic documentation, having expertise in Cerner and
Power Chart Maternity Software.
