LEADERSHIP I EDUCATIONAL OGANIZATION
Understanding the Symbolic and Structural Perspectives of Leadership Practice
Leadership Qualities
What should be the most important values a leader must demonstrate?
The most significant values that I believe, a leader must possess is Reliability and
honesty. It is very important to demonstrate truthfulness and conviction in every action and earn
the credibility as a leader. A leader without a vision cannot ascertain cohesion between motive
and action.
How do you convince others to consent with your ideas?
When I explain an idea to people, I focus on the advantages and challenges of executing
the same. It is very important to be open to suggestions and recommendations as they can be
beneficial as well as enhance the chances of success, collectively (Alonderiene & Majauskaite,
2016).
Complex Thinking
How do you propose to deliver unfortunate news to your disciples?
I would deliver any unfortunate news after having everyone gathered while explaining
why it might have led to such an outcome. I would also discuss about the possible ways of
avoiding such circumstances with preventive measures (Bush, Bell & Middlewood, 2019).
Challenges and failures are a part of life and we become wiser with experiences thus, it is
important to remain positive to cope up with setbacks with an optimistic approach.
How do you motivate students to pursue their dreams?
Dreams are visions of how we perceive our lives in future. I would encourage the
students to have plans to pursue their dreams. It is very important to walk along the path which
leads us to our goal and not get diverted in the way. Hence, effort and resilience would always
take us to what we wish to achieve in life.
Do you place passion over stability? Reasons for your answers.
Yes, I do place passion over stability but having said that, it is also important to have firm
grounds in order to pursue passion. There is nothing more extraordinary than having a fervor
which excites and provides us with zeal to go on, despite challenges. We can express the best of
our abilities through what we are good at and if we do that properly, stability does follow. As a
Leader, it is essential to reflect and assess based on contemporary ideas and motivate young
minds to consider applications which will also provide stability and satisfaction (Shapiro &
Stefkovich, 2016).
