Description
Arizona’s nurse practitioners (NPs) are not subject to supervision, or do not collaborate with, a
physician, but are given guidelines for practice (Erin, 2014).
NPs are expected to refer clients whom they cannot manage, or they may turn to other provides and
seek solutions for the patients (Erin, 2014).
Influence on Nurse’s Role
Regulations under these laws allow nurse practitioners (NPs) to only deliver healthcare services such
as drug administration within the NPs’ populace focus (Erin, 2014).
