secure without functioning of authorities who are working under criminal justice system.
Basically criminal justice system set up for public safety and health through public safety

by keeping in mind a victimization. Rehabilitation is one of the technique to improve the
behaviour of offender so they again become right member of the society. Rehabilitation means to
reform the behaviour of offender(Agozino, 2018). Different- different programmes are available
for reformation of prisoners as per there offence and their nature. Through this study functioning

offender's nature and offence committed by him. Inmate rehabilitate by educational and
vocational training so after punishment over he again become part of society and start working
by using his skills which he learn during imprisonment. Psychological rehabilitation also made to
the inmates who basically suffer from various problems like drug addiction etc (Backes, Fedina,

rate of re offending. For this purpose ministry of justice established a data lab which work on
impact of rehabilitation can be examine. As the main function of justice system is to decrease the
crime in society. Education is one of the way through which prisoners rehabilitated. It not only
educate the prisoners but helps in improving possibility of employment of inmates. As per justice
data lab approx. 19% prisoners who completed there education are settle down in society. During
education prisoners are learn about finance, relationships and parenting in their academic
session. As most of prisoners not having sufficient knowledge of english and maths so authories
impart them knowledge on these two subjects. Imparting of vocational education and
employment during imprisonment inmates are providing vocational education so they are
eligible for prison jobs by organizing workshops. Inmates who are working get the minimum
wages per week. It was found that inmates who got vocational training during imprisonment are
easily get the employment after their release from prison. Criminal justice system provide
offender Behaviour Programme to prisoners which deal with group structured therapeutic
activities in series with the help of specialized facilitators. It helps in reducing crime by
preventing re-offendring by focusing on psychological reasons of criminal behaviour by using
cognitive behavioural therapy (Cain and Finch 2018). More focus of this therapy is on
dysfunctional and criminogenic thinking patterns. In this accused asked to Construe about the
damage caused by their prior criminal behaviour, including the long-suffering and less visible
psychological trauma. Watch videos of their specific victims Scribe the impact of the offence on
their lives. Write conjectural letters of apology to their victims. Take the place of the victim in a
re-enactment of the offence. There are another supplementary approaches that can replace use of
CBT in future. Following are includes like psychodrama in it past event is re enacted by group of
people. Therapy of Virtual reality in this virtual environment is created for wrong doer which

going educational programme are re offend within a year. Using the technique of rehabilitation
reduces the fear of punishment in wrong doer which is the one of the highlighted reason of
increasing crime rate. Continues supervision of facilitators required which needed lot of time,
money and resources. And always there is a availability of facilitator is there it is not necessary.
One of the disadvantage is regarding price of drugs which is given to prisoner for rehabilitation.
Although cheaper option can be adopted but its result always be effective that cannot be say.
Treatment of drug addiction causes unnecessary financial burden on government budget.
There is a need of continue counselling of offenders and re offenders for which requirement of
counsellor needed (McCurdy 2019). And some criminals are so sharp minded they have no
impact of counselling and start again involving in criminal activities. The prison environment,
defined as a lack of interest in correctional staff, lack of empathy and interest, and mixed – but
usually impersonal and sometimes counter – relationships between prison authorities and
prisoners, further interrupt any attribute of rehabilitation. Theoretical and practical implications
are different.
The criminal justice system of United kingdom is the collective body consisting of various
institutions such as Police, Crown prosecution services and Prison system which is responsible
for adminstrating justice in the country. The United Kingdom has three seperate legal systems,
one each for England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Judges and Magistrates play an
important role in criminal justice system especially when it comes to sentencing. The purpose of
this system in the country is to reduce crime and enable reoffending, to punish offenders, to
protect the public, to provide victims with reparation, to develop and increase the confidence in
public including victims and witnesses and to ensure that there is a fair and just system (Galea
2019). The main goal of criminal justice system is mainly formed for delivering justice among
the people which signifies “justice for all”. It focuses on protecting the innocent, convicting
criminals and providing a fair justice process to help and keep law and law and order across the
country. Basically, it aims at protecting the citizens and keeping tem safe from all criminal
activities.
Multi agency work means involvement or composition of two or more agencies such as
government agencies, multi agency task force and multi agency investigations. It is a partnership
working agency where practitioners work for more than one agency work together jointly, by
sharing aims, information, tasks and responsibilities. It is an ongoing process which involves

continuos training and improvement. It also helps in securing real improvements and is an
effective way of supporting children and families with their additional needs. The multiple goals
of criminal justice system includes deterrence, inacapacitation, retribution, rehabilitation and
restoration.
Multi agency working strives and continues to be core focus in criminal justice and
working system, with significant investment of government in training criminal justice
professionals. It is very important for the organisations to work together in order to deliver
services to people with multiple needs. It is very essential to work collaborately in order to offer
individuals support in a timely manner (Mohebbi 2020). It provides seamless and effective
response to individuals with mutiple and complex needs. The models of multi-agency working is
based on three common principles that are sharing of information, making of joint decision and
coordinated intercession. The most important requirement for multi-agency working is that
workers should be able to communicate effectively in team by understanding their own role and
relation to others.
Advantages of multi-agency working includes improved and effective services with joint
problem solving by taking comprehensive approach and to increase the understanding and trrust
between agencies. The most beneficial impact is that it shares or divides the workload and
Processresponsibilities by imbibing less burden on individuals for protecting vulnerable
individuals from abuse. Agencies can use their strength by working together and ehance its
individual specialise skills by dealing with issues at a fast rate, as there can be easier access to
support requirement by dealing with multi-agency working framework (Mohebbi 2020). It is
involved in doing meetings and enahancing relationships with the teachers, health staff, drug and
alcohol services, mental health services, housing, probation, etc order to work together for the
best interest of child and their family. Multi-agency and multi disciplinary work hand in hand by
providing shared identity and purpose for encouraging the team members to trust each other
leading to better and imroved communication and trust between team members with more
aggregate and individual centered practice. Multi disciplinary will prevent unneccessary errors
and neglect harm to individuals and their families.
Disadvantages of multi-agency working includes lack of cooperation and disagreements
Processwhich can be a major disadvantage for people of muti-agency working. If there is non
involvemnet or disagreement where they do not share common goals, morals and ideas , then

there is high posssibility that there will be disagreement on things which will lead them to work
against each other. There is frequent problem of time pressure which is involved in providing
services while working with team. They are not only responsible for completing their task on
time with patience but also to communicate and manage the task wholely with specified
execution in the agencies. The lack of effective collaboration among the workers leads to dis-
organisation of work assigned to them. The lack of absence among the workers creates a mis
management between workers, leading to misuse of their potential skills and unavailability of
benefits from them. The territorial issue is also a very challenging factor to overcome the
unwillingness to share equipment and facilities, professional level discontent and mistrust
amomg agency (Surprenant and Brennan 2019). It prevents too much indicating and pass on by
becoming too regular giving the mirage of effective action being taken. The coordinated
response of public sector agencies directs crime, social disorder and community safety relates to
inter-agency policing or partnership policing. The most heating challenge is that it includes
consequently high levels of crime and violence, with the requirement to respond to new forms of
criminality as well as enabling responses to criminal behaviours which have infuse socities
including corruption and violence against women and children.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay, it is concluded that Criminal justice system is combination of
several inter linked rules which is combination of academia, droit enforcement agencies, forensic
and judicial services. The multiple goals of criminal justice system includes deterrence,
inacapacitation, retribution, rehabilitation and restoration. Rehabilitation is a means which vary
