Among the dialysis patients the issues of vascular access is referred to as a major reason
for morbidity and mortality access. Cannulation of vascular access is a process which requires
considerable skills for overall improvement and development. Due to lack of these measures the
patients can also face negative consequences (De Araújo et al. 2017). The experiences of the
patients get influenced with the ability and approaches of cannulation by the nurses.
Complication of miscannulation can cause augmented catheter’s usage. Due to the changes
happening in epidemiology among the dialysis population the patients who have issues with
arteriovenous fistula cannulation are increasing.
The problems those have been addressed can be completely mitigated by the procurement
of the ultrasound device for renal vascular access cannulation. In addition to this, successful
cannulations can be enhanced successfully through ultrasound-guided cannulation and also it can
resolve the errors of cannulation based complications like hematoma formation, infiltration etc
(Khamidullina and Puryaev 2016). It will decrease delay in access usability and decreasing
catheter usage. The application complexities will be resolved or reduced with the cannulation
