This report investigates the impact of renewable energy on international trade, specifically focusing on its effects on the environment, employment, and the oil and gas industry within a global context. The study, based on empirical findings from 101 energy users, reveals that while renewable energy is gaining support and positively impacting the environment and employment, its promotion and the availability of alternatives to all oil and gas products remain challenges. The research highlights a decline in the international trade of oil and gas due to the growth of renewables, although the industry is expected to continue generating profits. The findings also indicate a gap between public concern for environmental and job-related issues and their actual contributions. The report suggests further research into the promotion status of renewable energy and globalization effects, emphasizing the oil and gas sector's ongoing evolution. The study includes an extensive literature review covering international trade, globalization, oil and gas, and renewable energy, along with a detailed methodology, results, and conclusions.
