channels. There are various retail trends that include sustainability, profitability, innovation, etc.
The selected sector in current report is aviation which focuses on issues related to pandemic in
context of British airways. In addition to this, factors that impact profitability will be included in
report.
Background
In modern era, airline industry is growing at rapid speed that plays an important role in
economic growth & development. For present report BA is chosen which flag carrier
establishment of United Kingdom. It has formed with merge of two reputed firms BOAC and
BEA in 1974 by having 183 destinations covering for flight. Vision of firm is to become world's
most responsible airline. Mission is to wider than being merely airway with good customer
relation & service. Additionally, it aims to established new standards for customers service
innovation, etc. BA has strategy of providing stable employment, building connection with
clients, reducing effect on environment & community investment. Its financial structure has
become strong by listing on stock exchange. With increase in barriers for aviation sector due to
Covid 19, research report will shed light on factors that can help to remain firm profitable
(Nicola and et.al., 2020).

The crucial issue that is impacting British airlines is high employees turnover, reduced
sale, increase in government rules & regulation, etc. The report will focus on achieving
objectives by ensuring innovativeness and customers safety (Spinelli and Pellino, 2020).

Research Methodology
Research type
For evaluating impact of Covid-19 qualitative research type will be suitable (Adhabi, and
Anozie, 2017s). Moreover, aspect related to BA's stability, originality and profitability are
theoretical that can be properly addresses through qualitative type.
Sampling
For purpose of survey, researcher need to select appropriate type of sample in turn
desirable result can be obtained. With respect to this, 10 managers of British airways has been
chosen by referring sampling technique.
Data collection method
Information will be collected through both primary and secondary sources. In primary
mode, scholar will conduct questionnaire for getting actual views (Cohen and et.al., 2020). To
support information secondary published articles, journals, books can be used for developing
brief thesis. SWOT and PESTLE analysis assist to get internal & external factors that influences
company's performance.
