INTRODUCTION
Reflective means practice which is needed to innovative approaches for continuing
learning (Kocielnik and et.al., 2018). This study will reflect on skills and learning that have been
developed by conducting research. It will discuss importance of conducting research and its link
with career development and improved skills.
Research methods
In regard to research methodology I can say that it is one of the important thing that
consists of several elements such as research types, approaches, data collection and analysis.
When we conduct research on any topic then we are required performing or considering all
elements in a systematic manner. BY developing or conducting research regarding identifying
impacts of home delivery food services in building of sustainable working of an organization, I
found that having knowledge of gathering data collection plays a vital role. For accomplishing
goal, there is requirement of data or information relevant to the topic. So, by conducting research
I learned about different ways of data collection as well as sources (De Wever and et.al., 2019).
For this research study about home food delivery, I made use of secondary data. Secondary data
refers second hand data that are already being published. Such data are being gathered from
books and journals, literature, articles and others. So, for gathering such data, I made use of all
these sources and it increased my knowledge of making use of such data in research.
After collecting data, data analysis also plays a vital role as it is one of the important
elements of research methodology. So, after collecting data I made use of thematic analysis. This
analysis tool helped me out in moulding gathered data and making them accurate for the research
study (Böcker and Meelen, 2017). It increased my knowledge and I came to know about the
reason of using data analysis tool as it improves image and reduces errors.
Literature and sources
Literature is other main important part of research study. As it is already stated that there
are 2 types of data collection such as primary and secondary. Whole developing or conducting
research on effectiveness of home food delivery I found the difference and sources of both types
of data. At that time I came to know that literature review is one of the main sources of collecting
secondary data. In this source, data are being gathered by analysing different views of authors on
the research topic (Hutchings and et.al., 2020). It helps us out in taking better decisions. It covers
all secondary information and for this study I mainly focused on collecting secondary

information by knowing views of authors about importance and drawbacks of home food
delivery service.
I learned effective way of making use of books, articles and analysing views of authors in
both positive and negative manner. It is the main part of business idea that helped me out in
knowing several things about home food delivery. I knew several advantages of this research
topic along with some disadvantages. It increased my decision-making skill. While making use
of literature and gathering data from this, it is also important to consider external environmental
factors because such factors relevant to the topic can also affect data. As it was related to
knowing importance of home food delivery in covid-19 situation so, I gathered detailed
secondary information (Musulmonova, 2019.). It can help me out in the future in becoming
successful in marketing profession because for performing marketing function, there is
requirement of having skill of gathering data from different sources.
Knowledge
By conducting research on the current and hot topic of impact of home food delivery in
covid-19 situation, I learned several new things. It increased my knowledge to the great extent
regarding research and the topic of research as well. When I conducted research and gathered
relevant information from different sources then it increased my communication skill. I mainly
focused on collecting secondary data and for gathering secondary data, there is requirement of
having an effective research and development skill. Initially I faced some problems in gathering
relevant information and selecting appropriate articles. But with the help of my seniors and prior
experience I identified relevant articles and books and journal (Vossen and et.al., 2019). This
selection of articles for collection of secondary data, increased my research and development
skill. This skill can also help me out in the future in becoming successful marketing assistant and
better researcher.
I can say that in the future I can develop research in successful manner on other topics. It
can boost my confidence and I can participate in several seminars and career development
programs. I also got to know about importance of maintaining quality and reasons of providing
home food delivery. So, I can say that this research improved not only research related skills but
also increased knowledge regarding home food delivery and ways of adapting changes according
to changing situations.

Learning from research on importance of home delivery of food services
By conducting research on this topic, I learned several things and all these new things
increased my morale. When I completed this research study successfully then it made me feel
valued and my supervisor appreciated for this. I learned about sustainability as how it can be
maintained by organizations and researcher. Technology is vital in this digital era and by making
use of technologies in gathering information from online panel, I really got to know its
importance. While developing and gathering information regarding effectiveness of home food
delivery then I came to know that companies that provide home delivery major depend on
technology. Without having knowledge of accessing social media platforms and technology, it is
not possible to be in this competitive era. So, I can say that this research study increased my
technical as well as numerical skills. In Malta, people spend a lot of time in social media
platforms and have knowledge about technology. So, as per their convenience and making
research activities easier, technologies were used to some extent.
Critical thinking and ideas
An ability to think both sides of anything is known as critical thinking. There are some
people who think positive only, but they are less likely to become successful. It is important for
people of having an ability to identify both positive and negative aspects for taking better
decision and taking risks. Without taking risks and having this ability researcher cannot take
better decision. While developing and collecting secondary data relevant to the topic, I made
plan and write down both positive and negative sides of secondary data. It helped me out in
taking better decision regarding selecting the type of data. By analysing both primary and
secondary type as well as literature, I reached at final decision (Ennis, 2018). It helped us out in
knowing risks that are associated with research and on the basis of this identification, we can
develop strategies. So, overall I can say that critical thinking is vital in research study as it
protects us against failure and depression because we take better measurement in a timely
manner for eliminating risks.
Barriers
Conducting research is not an easy task, we learn several things, but we have to face
some problems due to changes occur in business environmental factors. There are some external
environmental factors that we cannot control such as: climate change, changes in economic
condition and others. Lack of finance was one of the main research problem as it created some

barriers in successful research development. Due to changes in external environmental factors, I
faced problems in gathering more relevant data. I believe that researcher can collect relevant data
by conducting questionnaire or meeting directly with participants. But due to climate change and
Covid-19 situation, I did not conduct questionnaire and dependent completely on secondary data
(Hammoudi, Aliouat and Harous, 2018). So, I believe if I had developed questionnaire then I
could have got better results. Rather than this, due to lack of flexibility and problem solving skill,
I faced problems in completing project in a timely manner as I took 2 days extra from estimated
completion deadline. From this I found that I require focusing on all these time management,
flexibility and problem solving skills.
Professional development
In the regard to research, I can say that it helps us out in developing career and making us
successful in our profession. I learned several things by conducting research and I believe that all
these skills such as: communication, research and development, team working can help me out in
the future. With the help of communication as well as research and development I can gather
better information of customers and can develop my career in marketing field (Baker-Doyle and
Yoon, 2020). For marketing assistant it is important to promote products of company and
attracting customers. For accomplishing this goal, communication skill play a vital role and by
conducting research I developed oral as well as written communication skill. It made me better
researcher and can definitely help me out in becoming successful in communicating with
customers in the future.
Objectives
The main objectives for providing home delivery of food services for those people who
are unable to reach and do not have time from their busy schedule. Due to have Covid-19 many
people are affected along with they have fear of coming out from their home. Home deliver of
food could help them as well try to make them more satisfy. In this pandemic more people are
afraid of their incomes source and some losses their jobs. I should like to provide them food
services with having some discount or offers, so they can easily afford them and satisfied their
needs as well wants. It is important for those people who are busty and do not take care about
their health along with that organization can provide them some healthy food rather than junk
food (Franceschelli, Santoro and Candelo, 2018). Covid-19 diet chart must be followed for
making their proper health, I would like to save their time and money for that, I need to

developed organization more and more in which they can easily identify plus order foods while
seating at home. Some challenges are facing in having home delivery services such as many
people are avoiding, no delivery persons are ready for doing this services. Solution can be in
working this environment they have to be safer and I will try to build company image in
customer while taking their trust. I will develop more creative and attractive menu cards
furthermore providing better customer services, managing high quality of job in targeting food
service workforce while including their wages and some other benefits.
Finding and results (200)
As per from the above discussed I have found that home delivery can be more important
in food service due to having Covid-19 many people get affected. In changing environment I
have collected information from secondary data which could help me in making my skills more
developed and save my times. In conducting this research I have also developed my
communication skills for making gathering information and due to having current situation I
have selected secondary data. In gathering information I would easily made development in
knowledge while from taking source of different authors, literature that make my skills more
perfect (Pachapur And et.al., 2020). Before doing research of sustainability working I noticed
both positive as well negative aspects of secondary data, which could help for managing in
gathering information. In future research it could support me through my knowledge that could
be more important for me in gathering more information. Due to pandemic food business have
get affected and negative impact on their business as well as function in every effective manner.
So for upcoming from this food business have started their home delivery services which make
their business more developed and make their business more effective with having proper image
in market.
CONCLUSION (50)
From the above it had been concluded that food business needs to be more development
due to have sustainability working in their environment. In conducting this research secondary
data have been used for gathering information about various customer and their views.
