Introduction
This is a new invention in communication circles. There so much advanced features in this type
of network compared to the previous versions of the same. it involves a set of radio network that
is highly sophisticated and in the form of cells that help in segmenting various locations and
environments that define the users communicating circumference (Anon, n.d.). The cells
fragmented defines a certain area of coverage where the signals can work on and providing the
client with an environment that is necessary for communication purposes. Through a cell phone
that the user has, he or she is able to be connected even if it involves movement within and
without the base of operation. When this technology in customer view is analyzed, there are so
many advantages that come as a package with the aim of improving the manner in which the
clients operates on (Chiang, 2008). This is in contrast to what has been witnessed in the past
mobile networks. With cellular wireless, the client can enjoy the stable signal connection and
minimal interference a chronic problem that was witnessed from the former technologies. The
storage media of access to resources is higher compared to other earlier versions and above all,
there is efficiency and prestige in communicating. In this piece of work, the author intends to
underscore the concept of cellular wireless networks by analyzing two published works on the
same. the whole paper will have six sections. First, there will be an annotated bibliography of the
two papers that shall be selected. Second, the methodologies used in each of the paper shall be
outlined and compared. Thirdly the comparison of the results will be summarized of the two
papers. Fourthly, the writers view of the paper that is more outstanding in terms of the research
conducted. Fifth there will be some few recommendations towards the work for future reference
and finally a conclusion on the entire paper.

Kazi, B. and Wainer, G. (2018). Next generation wireless cellular networks: ultra-dense multi-
tier and multi-cell cooperation perspective. Wireless Networks, 25(4), pp.2041-2064.
There is a great growth of technological advancements in the mobile devices and the
general applications that are geared towards communication between different users
(ZHANG, 2018). These rampant applications required much of the platforms which are
needed to support them to function correctly. The social networking areas demand high
data consumption and a faster and stable network in order to roll the functionalities as
required. These entire powerful introduction influences so many customers and most of the
people globally must be connected to the net. This produces a great traffic influx and
subscription entirely yet at a faster speed. Because of this population in desperate desire to
achieve their maximum joy in terms of surfing, the capacity and the efficiency in the global
cellular station is affected as there is a serious fragment of the cells until there is a point of
difficult in rationing the due services to the clients. This opens a room for the interference
and other technical demands which 5G cellular networks are not able to meet at ago. There
are a few challenges that the authors noted when conducting this research work (Mastorakis,
Mavromoustakis & Pallis, n.d.). There is high data demand trade between multimillion users
which is a great challenge with this set of the network (Energy management in wireless
cellular and ad-hoc networks, 2018). There are so many clients who need to use the same
infrastructure at the same time. This is a great limitation since the framework cannot bear
the burden of the same demands from the users.
Chamberland, S. and Pierre, S. (2005). On the Design Problem of Cellular Wireless
Networks. Wireless Networks, 11(4), pp.489-496.
The authors of this particular work, we dedicated towards the analysis of the real issue that
is involved in the design of the cellular networks. Their main challenge was to identify the
key problems that the existing framework has had in the past age. Some of the previously
noted challenges in the design of the same model has been the cost has been very in the real
implementation (Anon, n.d.). This affected the real design because of the costs that are
involved there. Another problem the authors of this paper found was the problem of

optimization of the services offered by the network. As a result of these challenges, there
was a proposal towards integrating two major components of the cellular networks in order
to save on cost and maximize the efficiency of the entire system.
Methodology
In the first paper that was used, the authors have employed a qualitative research
methodology through several data that was tested over and over to produce the results that
could lead to the objectives of the work (Ghosh and Konar, 2013). Through the survey
performed and conducted data was collected analyzed and wonderful proposals came as a
result while the second paper analyzed employed some algorithms that were numerical in
nature to come up with various parameters to be improved on the cellular wireless
networks. Also through this, there were some analytical results reviewed.
Results
In the first work reviewed, the results confirmed the challenges that were outlined in the
introduction and some proposal towards improvement in areas such as flexibility and the
optimization of the cellular wireless networks to the next generation. Some of the
integration issues were actually the aspect of the implementing the multi-cell base and the
ultra densification of the network in order to fulfil all the demands of the users and forecast
on the future trends that may grow and emerge. While considering the second part of the
reviewed paper, the author through the numerical tools used in the entire exercise, noted
that there has existed some gap between the major locations in the mobile wireless
networks that have been the greatest loopholes towards the challenges incurred (Anon,
n.d.). If these could be amalgamated together they would produce an optimization and
lower the cost of designing. The authors also proposed a better design plan for a future that
would affect the general working of the entire wireless networks.

Personal view
In the personal view of the two works, the writer of this paper is in more favour of the first
paper compared to the second paper. This is because the second paper is more current, the
publication was done in the year 2018 and it speaks of more than the current cellular
network (Kazi and Wainer, 2018). Talks about the next generation wireless network. This
is in comparison with the other paper published in 2005 hence it may not really be updated
as per the current demands of the networking environment.
Recommendations
From the work that has been done, the author recommends that more research should be
done of how there can be interoperability in network communications so that a maximum
benefit can be ripped (Song, 2012). Also, the existing cellular wireless networks should be
analyzed keenly to find out what can be improved in them.
Conclusion
There is a great agitation towards moving towards wireless networks. On both personal and
corporate benefits, it leaves no door for anything below this. As it is well known there is a
drastic change in the technological advancement which has radically attracted as many
people as possible in the same direction. As people are increasing in the usage of the
connections, there is greater than ever need of upgrading the frameworks to accommodate
all the emerging technologies and applications in the current age. From the research paper
analyzed, there is a great need to move to the next generation of cellular networks that has
more ramifications and able to carry all the demands in the growth of the technology.
