Abstract
The aim of this research is to explore the existing use of cloud computing in logistics
operation, while the examining the potential intervention of cloud computing to improve the
logistics operation. This research will use the systematic literature review method. It can be
assumed that there should be the scope of improving the logistics operation in more
innovative way with the help of cloud based network and other information technologies.
Literature Review- Broad Scan and Reading
Round 1
In this age of digitalisation, the utilisation of cloud based networking system in
various industrial operations is constantly increasing. The interest on this topic was born from
the curiosity of how the logistics operation can get benefitted from cloud computing. As the
topic of this research is effectiveness of cloud computing in logistics, two major key words
could be emerged immediately namely the ‘cloud computing’ and ‘logistics technologies’.

operational architecture of WSN and sensor based cloud system to monitor and control
logistics.

protocol for RFID supply chain systems.
The study is highly focused on the RFID or Radio Frequency Identification system
and its implementation in supply chain and logistics management through cloud based

structure and operational efficiency of RFID system and the resultant improvement in supply
chain management.

This research is a exploratory research, which will be based on the secondary data
collection process with the help of systematic literature review. The data extraction form for
various chosen article will be also used to analyse the effectiveness of cloud computing on
logistics critically.
