Introduction
This report includes a discussion of the research methods used in the consultancy project.
The report will describe the different research methods used to solve real-world problems.
The research methods are beneficial in any research project as it makes the research more
accessible. The discussion of different research methods will be described in this report.
The report will include the critical evaluation of the research methods which makes the
research proper and appropriate. The report will include a reflection on future consultancy
projects. The research methods are beneficial in the success of any research project.

1. Understanding of research methods as evidenced by discussion of methods selected
and breadth/depth of reading
The research methods are very useful in the research consultancy projects. The research
methods can be used for doing the research project in an appropriate manner. There are
different types of research methods like qualitative research methods, quantitative research
methods, primary collection of data, a secondary collection of data and many more
(Johnson and Vindrola-Padros, 2017). All of the data collection and data analysis are two
important research methods which carried a successful research project.
The two methods selected in the discussion which are the primary method and secondary
research methods. These two are the different methods of data collection which helps in
collecting data related to the consultancy of the research project (Hair et al., 2015). The
primary research method includes the data collected by doing interviews, survey or by
questionnaire method. In all these methods, questionnaire method is very useful in
collecting the appropriate data. The data has been obtained by the respondents who are
quietly related to the organisation included in the research (Underwood and Waterson,
2013). The secondary method consists of the already published data which are the views of
the authors related to the topic.

2. Evaluation of the challenges faced in data collection and analysis, with due regard to
ethical and practical considerations
The data collection and data analysis are two essential methods included in the research. By
using these two methods, the research project becomes complete and appropriate. In these
two important methods, many challenges occurred as per ethical and practical
considerations (Fryer, et. al., 2012). The ethical issues have mainly arisen in the process of
data collection and data analysis which affected the whole research project. The ethical
considerations included in the process of data collection are that it is necessary to know
about the appropriate rules related to the protection of human subjects to support the
practical value of research (Taguchi, 2018). The one must avoid the use of deception in data
collection to proper monitoring the study. The privacy of respondents is the main ethical
issue in data collection.
After the collection of data, data analysis is also challenging. The main challenges in data
analysis are the data analysis is time consuming in the data collection activities. It is difficult
in the large research, lack of people who correctly understand the project and insufficient
expertise in data analysis (Reed, 2018).

3. Critical evaluation of the appropriateness of the methods selected
According to Suhonen, et. al., (2015) appropriateness of research methods defines the
methods which are the most suitable research approach as per the research methodologies.
Appropriate research methods make the research proper. The two research methods like
the primary method of data collection and secondary method of data collection are
appropriate in the whole research project as they are the best methods of data collection.
The primary method is one of the proper methods of data collection as it gives accurate
data as per the research (Abrahamsen, et. al. 2016). This is proper in the research
consultancy and provides the best results in the research as the primary method includes
the questionnaire process which is one of the best ways in the data collection process
(Wilson, 2016).
The secondary method of data collection is also an appropriate method as this is the real
data taken from the different views of authors (Vargas-Urpi and Mireia, 2017). This method
is the proper data relevant to the research project and gives real data. So these methods
selected provide the best feedback in the research consultancy.

4. A personal reflection on how the project will inform future research consultancy
projects and/or professional practice
As per my knowledge, the research methods are essential in future research consultancy
projects. The research projects give the best results by using the research methods. I am
aware of the use of research methods that they are the most critical part of the research
project. The data collection and data analysis methods help the researchers to carry out the
successful research consultancy projects. The primary and secondary purpose of data
collection is selected in this project which is included in the best methods of research as per
my experience (Mmari-blum, et. al., 2017).
The research method maintains future research consultancy projects and various
professional practices. The research methods give multiple opportunities to consultancy
projects as per my experience. The primary purpose is more useful in the consultancy
project, but this method creates some ethical issues. The research methods inform future
consultancy projects and make them better. I am analyzing various ways of research will
help the consultancy services to get the best results in the market. All these methods of
research make a proper growth of the consultancy projects. The selected research methods
give a better efficiency of the consultancy projects. The secondary method gives better data
related to the consultancy projects and also gives real data. I have been analyzed that the
primary and secondary methods of research are very beneficial for the consultancy projects
and also matters in their proper growth of the projects. The professional practice of the
consultancy projects will increase their growth by using the research methods that have
been selected. As per my experience, many consultancy projects improve their efficiency
and growth by using these research methods. So the future of the consultancy projects will
be higher by using these research methods.

Conclusion
In this report, the research methods have been discussed which are very efficient in the
projects of the consultancy. This report has been discussed the primary and secondary
method of data collection which provides the related data to the particular project and also
gives the best results of any research. This report has been included the various challenges
that occurred in the process of data collection, and data analysis like data analysis is time-
consuming, the privacy needed by the respondents and many more methods. The
evaluation of appropriate research methods has been described in the report. At last, the
personal reflection of the research methods has been described.
