I prepared a plan before organizing the meeting for research and development department.
At the same time, I invited many department executives to attend or participate in the
meeting. These are such as executives of research and development, marketing department’s
manager, salesmen, other participants, and human resource manager. Additionally, such
participants are invited to discuss the challenges of research and development department in a
effective manner (Jo, et al., 2014).
Moreover, they discussed about the solution approach to overcome the challenges of
research and development activities and improve the situation of department significantly. In
addition to this, I used online resources to invite the participators and make an effective
meeting. The main reason to select an online source is to enhance the application of online
way. I decided to make contract with research and development team and marketing team
because they are the main factors of a meeting.

At the same time, I estimated a sum of $5,000 to convene the meeting in a hotel named in the
table above. I directly distributed meeting paper to specified participants of the meeting. The
aim of meeting paper distribution is to make aware the participants regarding the meeting
activities significantly (POWELL, 2016). Additionally, I allotted the work to participants
regarding their capabilities, knowledge, and experience because of successfully conducting
the program and accomplish the specified task.
Along with this, I addressed and resolved one important of research and development
activity department relating to data inadequacy. I got different opinion and suggestion of
participants relating to data inadequacy and obtain positive outcome. Moreover, as the
chairperson, I have many responsibilities to make a successful meeting.
These activities or responsibilities are to develop the agenda, direct meeting, keep the
meeting in an effective manner, and ensure the agreements that will be used in the meeting.
Others factors are determining the fairness or equality of meeting; approval of minutes
afterward the completion of minutes (Phuntsho, et al., 2013). Additionally, I allowed for a
proper recording system so as to record the proceedings of the meeting, which was supportive
to eliminate the meeting presentation issues. It was also supportive to improve my personal
and professional skills in an appropriate manner.
Additionally, I desired to resolve all the research and development issues that had
been faced by the team. Along with this, I also decided that in case the desired outcomes are
not accomplished then we will conduct a meeting as soon as possible. Additionally, I found
my weak sections and improved by taking the suggestion of expertise of department. In
addition to this, I made some significant strategies to identify the accuracy of meeting
minutes. I offered meeting minutes by using online sources which are secure and less costly.
Additionally, I have arranged each activity that will be followed in the meeting.
