TITLE:
To assess the adverse implications which arises through the issue of diabetes among
human beings. A case study on WHO.
INTRODUCTION
Overview of the Research
In the modern era people are very much concern about their health and safety thus people
apply various measures as to living easy and comfortable life style. Diabetes is the most common
issue which can be found among large number of people in the universe. Diabetes mellitus is
considered as the most essential issue which has a huge influence on an individuals health and
safety (Lee and Styne, 2013). It is characterized through chronic hyperglycaemia and impaired
carbohydrates, liquid and proteins metabolism caused through partial or complete insufficiency
of insulin action. People with diabetes mellitus required psychological support throughout their
life span at the time of diagnosis. The psychological support to the people with Diabetes mellitus
plays a vast role in managing self behaviour. Diabetes can be identified in two major types such
as insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and other one is non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
The second type of diabetes non insulin diabetes is consist as the most common form which can
be chronicle for more than 90 percent of all diabetic patients and it is expected to enhance to
more then 439 million by upcoming years. World health organisation is a specialized agency of
the United Nations, which is concerned with international public health. WHO is a well known
public health agency which is focused on providing high quality of products and treatments to
their patients in respect to making improvements in their health condition.
Background of the Research
World Health Organisation is concern on providing variety of services to their significant
customers and clients in order to implementing improvement in their heath condition (Shankar,
Ahuja and Sriram, 2013). World health organisation (WHO) is the popular agency of United
Kingdom and it is mainly concern on analysing the health condition of people and provide them
effective and appropriate services to them. WHO was established in the year of 1948 and
headquartered is in Geneva, Switzerland. The World Health Organisation is a member of the
United Nations Development Group. In the first meeting of World Health Assembly the
constitution of WHO had been signed through 61 countries on 7 April 1948. WHO is concern on

providing treatment to the needy people who are suffering from any kind of health issue and
diseases. Diabetes is consist to be the major issue which can be found in the people of different
age group. Diabetes may cause various issues in humans life and also has a huge impact on their
life style. People with diabetes are not able to live a normal life as they are not able to have
variety of food in their life span. Even people are not able to do various physical activities in
their life. As a large public health agency WHO provide various health are services to the people
in respect to developing their condition in better manner.
Significance of the Research
The present research is based on the implications which are arises through the issue of
diabetes among human beings. In the modern era people are very much concern about their
health and safety or apply various measures in respect to keeping their self happy and healthy.
Diabetes is considered as a global issue which can be arises through adopting unhealthy life style
(Newman and Newman, 2017). It is evaluated that patients with diabetes mellitus are at high risk
of decreased psychological well-being which is already exists in about half of the patients at the
time of diagnosis. Diabetes has a huge influence on humans life style, living, family, friends etc.
people who are facing the issue of diabetes are not physically well as they are not living a normal
life style. It is required for them to take regular treatments in respect to reduce the adverse impact
on diabetes from their life.
Rational of the Study
A rational typically consists of a line of reasoning which performs various principles
function of research. The research into consideration is based on the adverse implications which
arises through the issue of diabetes among human beings. The major purpose of selecting the
issue is to enhancing their knowledge and skills of learner about the complications that are arises
through diabetes among human beings. The selected topic is effective in analysing the
implications that are faced by people who are suffering from diabetes (Trevathan, 2017). This
research helps in enhancing the knowledge of learner which can be applied by researcher in their
future research. This section of research helps in clearly defining the purpose of research in
appropriate manner.

Research Aim
This consist to be the primary focused area of research which determine the overall
purpose of investigation. It is required for researcher to create clear and concise aim because the
whole research activities are based on the title. This is a predetermined statement in which the
issue of research is identified (Holt and Mitchell, 2015). The essential aim of this particular
research is to assess the adverse implications which arises through the issue of diabetes among
human beings. A case study on WHO.
Research Objectives
This considered as the result which is analysed by researcher at the end of the research
process. In this section of research the major goal or various elements are described that helps in
attaining the desired aim in appropriate manner. This consist to be some specific statement which
helps in analysing the measurable outcomes of a research. Some essential objectives of research
are described as under:
ï‚· To analyse the implications that arises through diabetes among humans.
ï‚· To ascertain the main causes of diabetes among human beings.
ï‚· To identify the impact of diabetes on overall lifestyle of people.
ï‚· To determine various ways through which diabetes can be treated.
Research Questions
This is also an another essential terms which helps in clearly defining the research
problem in appropriate manner (Parahoo, 2014). It is the primary core of research study, project
or review of literature which provides a proper description about the issues that are analysed in a
research project. Some essential questions of research are described as under:
ï‚· What are the major implications arises through diabetes among humans?
ï‚· What are the main causes of diabetes among human beings?
ï‚· What is the impact of diabetes on overall lifestyle of people?
ï‚· What are the ways by which diabetes can be treated in effective manner?
Research Design
This can be described as the most essential part of research which performs effective role
in implementing the research activities in appropriate and effective manner. A research is based
on two major types qualitative or quantitative research. The present research is based on

qualitative means as in this data has to be gathered on the basis of qualitative means of data and
information (Claydon-Platt, Manias and Dunning, 2012). The design can be consist as the
blueprint of the research which helps in defining the overall activities of research and implement
them as per the requirement of the task. With the help of proper research design all the activities
of research are implemented into appropriate manner. This section of research is categorised
among three major types such as descriptive, exploratory and experimental research design. In
the present research project descriptive research design has to be taken into proper action as it
helps in providing a significant way to attaining appropriate result that are based on qualitative
research. This method is widely applied by researcher in their qualitative research as it is
effective for frequencies, averages and other statistical calculations. Descriptive research design
helps in providing the proper description about the whole research questions in appropriate
manner.
Data collection: This is also an another part of research project which helps in gathering the data
and information through various sources. In a research project data has to be gathered by primary
as well as secondary source of data collection which provide proper and appropriate data as to
carry out the whole research activities into proper and appropriate manner. In the present
research project both the data collection methods are applied into proper action. Primary method
has been applied as to preparing questionnaire and secondary source of data collection has been
applied in respect to conducing the section of literature review into proper action. Secondary
source helps in applying the view point of various authors and writers as to reaching at final
result and outcome.
Randomized controlled trial: This consist to be a scientific type of experiment which aims to
reduce bias when testing a new treatment. Wide number of people taking effective participation
is the trial are randomly allocated to the group receiving the treatment under inquiry or to a
group receiving standard treatment as the control (Monnier and et. al., 2011).
Cohort Study: This consist to be the type of medical research which is applied to identify the
cause of disease, implementing link among risk factors and health outcomes. This studies are
forward looking, which is based on prospective studies or planned in advance as to carried out
the research out over a future period of time.
The Non-equivalent Group Design: This is the most appropriate design which is probably the
most frequently used method in social research. In this type of research, investigator pick two

comparable classrooms or schools. In education, investigator might pick two comparable
classrooms or schools (Abu-Raiya, Pargament and Krause, 2016). In community-based research,
researcher might use two similar communities. In which investigator try to select groups that are
as similar as possible so we can fairly compare the treated one with the comparison one.
Survey: This can be described as a area of applied statistics of human research survey, the
methodology encompasses the sampling of an individual units that are arises from a population
and associated tools of survey data collection by preparing questionnaire and methods for
enhancing the number and accuracy of responses to survey.
In the present research project data has to be gathered through conducting a survey in which
questionnaire has to be prepared and filled by population in respect to analysing the opinion of
various people about the select area of study.
Participants
The present research is based on qualitative means and in this data has to be gathered
through random population. Sampling consist to be an essential part of research project which
helps in accumulating data and information through various sources. This section of research is
categorised among two major types such as probabilistic and non probabilistic sampling. In the
present research project purposive sampling has to be taken into proper action as it helps in carry
out the research work into proper action (Jones, 2012). In this data has to be collected through
the patients who are suffering form the issue of diabetes as they are more effective in clarifying
the issues that are arises through diabetes among people. Data has to be gathered through
different age group of people such as younger, teenagers and old-age people.
Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria: Inclusion can be consist as the characteristics that the
prospective subject needs to be included in the study. On the other side exclusion criteria are
consist to be the characteristics that disqualify prospective subjects and these are not required to
include in the research project. Inclusion criteria of this particular research is to the people who
are suffering from the issue of diabetes and faces various implications which are arises through
diabetes. Furthermore exclusion criteria of the research is the people who are not suffering form
the diabetes as the research is based on the health issue which are cause by diabetes among
people. People suffering from other diseases are not involved in the sampling.

Ethical Consideration
It is a very important part of the research project. A researcher is the main person who is
responsible for success of the project, He is rest with responsibility to make sure that research is
conducted in an efficient manner and have contributed to the aim for which it was initiated.
Some of the issues faced by the researcher are proper conduction of the research in the time
frame allotted to them and within the funds that have been allotted for this purpose. If the funds
used will exceed the amount given than it will be a extra burden on the person who is performing
the research. The budget for the research should also be taken care of before making any
expenses (Friedman and et. al., 2015). A researcher while conducting a proper research, come
across various respondents and those respondents share certain personal information with
researcher and it is the responsibility of the researcher to use those personal information for the
purpose for which it was obtained and there shall not be any misuse of the same. These
information are quite personal and can be manipulated easily, hence it is essential that proper
concealment of the information obtained is made until it is put to use. The ultimate set of aim for
the researcher should be to achieve the goal that has been allotted to him. It is his duty to make
sure that ultimate aims as well as goals of the research is accomplished and there is no wastage
of resources in the same. A research is a typical work and in order to carry the same in an
effective way it is essential that Researcher follows the task given to them and meanwhile make
sure that it has fulfilled the ultimate goals of Research.
Measures
In the present research project various element that are related with diabetes and its
impact upon human beings are applied in respect to reaching at final result and outcome.
Research measures involves constructed situation, interview questions and survey question. In
the present research survey questionnaire will be prepared as to analysing the opinion of people
who are facing the implication in regards to diabetes.
Procedures
It can be considered as the procedure of step by step sequences that are applied in
performing some specific task of a research project. It describes the maintenance and operations
which are used by technicians to execute various actions in respect to perform an operations. In
the present research project researcher create an appropriate time scale in which all activities are
implemented in to proper action to reaching at final result and outcome.

Plan of analysis
This is also an essential part of research project which helps in analysing the data and
information into proper manner. In this collected data has been analysed through comparing the
data and information into appropriate manner (Regan, 2013). In this themes will be prepared on
the basis of survey questions which are asked by the respondents who are facing the issue of
diabetes.
Time scale
It is required for a researcher to design an time scale in respect to implement all research
activities into proper action. This provide a clear direction to the researcher to carry out research
activities into appropriate manner so that outcome can be attained in effective manner. In this all
activities are implemented as per the requirement of research, it create value in completion of
task in desired period of time.
