This research project examines the critical role of leaders and managers in employee development and well-being, focusing on a case study of Tesco. The study investigates the significance of employee development within an organization, exploring its impact on performance, loyalty, and the attraction of new employees. The research poses specific questions about the roles of managers and leaders in Tesco's employee development procedures, including their responsibilities in motivating employees, analyzing performance, and designing development activities. The project also identifies and analyzes the challenges faced by leaders and managers in this process, such as employee time constraints and disengagement.
